The only other review on this page was written by the club's owner -- "akahn" pretending to be an average member. That tells you something about the ethics from the top down. I was a member at Meadow Creek for several years. The pros were always helpful and interested in teaching me tennis, and I found most of the other members to be friendly. I stayed for those reasons, and that the club is conveniently located for me. But the atmosphere off the court is weird -- the staff often seems stressed out and unhappy, and not welcoming at all. Customer service attitude is a foreign concept ("how can I help you get what you want out of your club membership?"-- haha, you will never, ever hear that!!), and the front desk staff seem to exist mainly to make sure anyone who gets on the court gets charged for their court time -- that's it. Nobody is running the place. The owner is rarely there, policies are not clear and they often change depending on who you talk to. Nobody bothers to concern themselves about member experience, especially if you are new to tennis -- forget it. You will not get help finding the right programs or leagues -- nobody is tasked with being helpful in that way. There are no programs for anyone under 3.0, despite signs on the roof aimed at beginners ("tennis welcome center" it is not). I joined as a beginner and had to work very hard to find anything to do. Looking back now as a more experienced player, it is astonishing to me the depth to which no one was helpful there. I finally left because I could not longer ignore the attitude of management -- director of tennis, program director, owner. The best way to sum it up is that they don't even seem to like tennis, or the club, or their jobs. It remains a mystery to me why they choose a career that they don't seem to be interested in.

Meadow Creek Tennis and Fitness Club has the best beginner tennis lessons in the Denver area. Their Quickstart tennis instruction program is very affordable, fun, and professional. Their instructors made it easy to learn how to play tennis fast and I met lots of new friends to play tennis with through the program. They also have very nice indoor tennis courts, so the program is oferred year-round. Call Meadow Creek at 303-232-6272 if you want to learn how to play tennis. I highly recemmend them!
