Schaffer's Ultimate Bride

I had a very good experience at Schaffer's Ultimate Bride. They were very polite and helpful. They were very professional. I chose a dress to put on and liked it. The sales representative then suggested a dress by the same designer. I thought that dress was the most beautiful dress I have ever seen. I am now going with that dress. I am very happy with my decision and very glad she pointed out that dress for me. She also helped my maid of honor pick out a beautiful dress as well.

05/02/08 - Maybe a better statement is NO customers service. We have visited several bridal stores looking for a DEBUTANTE dress. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE!!! This was the only store that did not offer ANY service. We entered the store which had a prominent sales rack, so of course we looked there first. An associate stated the sale rack items were sold as is and those were the only sizes, we had no problem with this. The sales person then asked what we were looking for, told her, she said it would take 3-4 months to get a dress in unless the manager sold us a sample, she then DIRECTED us to the other gowns and sat down in a chair! Never once offered service or to answer our questions. Other staff members were just standing around looking and talking to each other. After looking at a few DIRTY samples my daughter and I just left the store. We will not go back to that establishment. Thank goodness WE WENT TO ANOTHER BRIDAL STORE THAT SAME EVENING AND PURCHASED A BEAUTIFUL GOWN - the staff was extremely helpful, patient, and accommodating and our daughter looks gorgeous in the dress and is very happy!

I went to Schaffers on the recommendation of a friend who had good things to say about the shop. The dresses were very nice, but the assistants were not interested in helping me find what I was looking for, instead they kept pulling out things that were above the price I gave them. After half an hour here I knew they were never getting any of my money.

I've been looking with my sister-in-law for quite sometime to find that perfect wedding dress and she finally found it. The staff was pretty good with us while we looked in their store and then gave my sister-in-law some unexpected news after she put down her deposit, which is non refundable. To add to the tension of planning a wedding, they tell her she must pay an extra $160 to get her dress delivered on time to the store, no guarantee. The issue is that upon finding the dress, she gave pertinent wedding info to ensure the dress would be here in time for alterations. The staff said, No Problem it will be here in time. Because of their mistake, they still have yet to offer some sort of appreciation of dealing with the hassle this has caused financially, its a burden. Advice: Make sure you have them guarantee in some way in writing that the dress will make it in time!

Schaffers has some of the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen, but it also comes with a hefty price tag. Most of the dresses they have are for the higher end designers. They also have dresses for prom, bridesmaids, mothers, flower girls, etc. The staff is extremely attentive and its never a stressful experience at Schaffers. If you are getting married soon and want a truly high quality gown then I suggest this store. They are bit hard to get to off of Evans and I-25, but definitely worth the work.
