Cheap rate for what at first seems to be a decent room- one double bed, one twin. Not huge, but not claustrophobic either.

A/C did not work. Complained to the front desk, who told us to "fiddle with it". Tried, that and went to dinner, hoping it would kick in by then. When we came back, the room was still sweltering. The in room thermostat said the room was 84 degrees.

Complained to front desk. Woman went beserk. Screamed that we had been in the room for three hours (actually, only two). Ignored the fact that we had complained earlier. Told us that "construction workers" always stayed there, and didn't complain. Because they're the barometers on what is too hot?

Screamed at the top of her lungs for her husband who was outside that "this lady is complaining". He was actually quite reasonable and moved us to a room where the A/C did work.

However nice and accomodating he was, there was no making up for his psycho wife. Bad enough going to the trouble of switching rooms after being on the road all day, who wants to be screamed at for a problem that isn't her fault?

The outside loudly proclaims free HBO. Good luck watching it. There are only about 7 t.v. stations available, and 5 of those, including HBO, have a very staticky picture and almost impossible to hear over the static. The t.v. was bad in both rooms.

The room also blew a fuse when coffee maker was plugged in, luckily the husband was attending to the desk and immediately fixed it.

PROS: Price, but you get what you pay for
CONS: Irrational proprieter, A/C doesn't work, no t.v. to watch
