We love going to this place on Friday nights! The margs are yummy, the food is authentic and delicious. The mariachi band makes for a fun and very loud dining experience. Don't expect fast service and you'll have a great time! We usually bring cash to pay, so we don't have to wait to have our credit card processed.

Pros: Great food and fun environment

Cons: Slow service

Great food, reasonable prices. It's to bad the service is so poor. I have seldom seen a smile on service staff and having a drink refilled is often a major undertaking. To be fair I have only eaten lunches here, friends tell me that the service is excellent during dinner.

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants by far that I have ever encountered. I found it while I was in high school and love the Huevos Rancheros SO much that I drive from Denver at least once a month to have them. Their green chile is BY FAR the best and gets really spicey in the fall...watch out. Worth the drive....great food, quick service, great prices and is family owned so you are giving back to a great community. Ask for Nate or Michelle to serve you...both friendly and local nice people. :_

Cons: , Not enough chile!, Service-not friendly

This place has been a favorite since moving to CO in '98. All food is freshly made by family cooks. The salsa is so hot in the fall that it nearly leaves blisters, but it is fresh daily. The servers are very quick and to the point, don't try small talk. If you have a group, check your bill because sometimes "extra" beers get put on there.

If you want to pay more for worse food, go to Efrain's or Casa Alverez in Lafayette. This place seems like an old-time, family run operation that only cares about serving great food. Don't be turned off by the outside appearance, this is not a scuzzy restaurant. Friday's are ribs night. Pay the price on Saturday. Fajitas are great as are any of the combo meals. When you bill comes, you will think something was left off, the prices are that low.
