I write this feeling very sad. I remember Luciano's being delicious like two years ago. I'm not sure what's happened to their service, food, and cleanliness, but there's no way I can recommend this place anymore. The owner is surly and ill

The pizza's here are a great deal for the price. We also really like the wings, which are meaty and tender, with a large selection of sauce choices to satisfy any taste buds.

I recently ordered a pizza for delivery (over $17 for a two topping medium!). When it arrived it was burnt and pretty much inedible. As this was my third bad experience, I give up on this place. The dine-in service is consistently bad. I've stopped in there twice and it was at least a ten minute wait to get a slice (although the first time it was longer since they apparently forgot that I had ordered). I've read Luciano's responses to the other bad reviews and am outraged. Instead of promising to look into the problems, Luciano's response was pretty much "take your business elsewhere." No need to let me know this Luciano's, I've already decided to take my business elsewhere and suggest others do the same.

This will be the last time I will order food from luciano's. I live right around the corner and so it is convenient for me, so I have ordered about a half dozen times. The first time I tried the pizza and thought it was nasty, it was doughy, the sauce comes from big cans behind the counter and taste like paste and the cheese has no flavor. The next time I tried the wings because I heard good things. I was impressed the first time but since then things have slipped. Recently I went there and the wings where so overcooked they were rubbery, tough and the sauce was salty and generic. So I gave them another chance thinking it was just an off night. But this time the wings were undercooked and raw, not safe to eat. After this I thought it was time to say something I told the manager about the undercooked wings and was told there was nothing wrong with them. I was afraid to get a new order based on the demeanor of the manager and didn't want my food "messed with". I am stoked that new pizza places are opening up in the neighborhood, so I will not be eating here again. I don't know how a place like this started well but slipped so bad, I don't think it will last long. This review will hopefully help someone from wasting there hard earned money and time on terrible food and service.

A fellow employee and I went to Luciano's Pizza and Wings (on Broadway across from Sports Authority) during our brief lunch period on a Saturday. I ordered 1 slice of cheese pizza, and paid for it. Next, My friend ordered 2 slices, one pepperoni, one sausage, a small salad, and a drink, then paid. (one of their "value meals(almost 8 dollars!!") Next, the cashier, after handling our money, went DIRECTLY from the handling the money to the salad prep area- and throws random amounts of each ingredient into a STYROFOAM container with his bare, UNWASHED hands!
At the same time - I am still waiting for my ONE SLICE! (we are the only people in the place who are ordering!) Also, there were at least 4 people working in this small area, so WHY would the cashier make the salad? So my friend asked the cashier why he didn't wash his hands....his response... we always wash our hands....WE WATCHED HIM DO IT! And the funny thing is that right next to his salad prep area was a big box of diposable gloves!!
Meanwhile...
I could see my slice of pizza sitting under a heat lamp directly next to the cashier. So I asked the cashier what was going on with my slice...He finally grabbed it out of the heat lamp, and gave it to me.(Pizza was burnt, dry, and bland!) I really didn't expect much more at this point.
So..... my friend returned his salad, and they gave him a refund.... but get this!! MINUS A CHARGE FOR THE RANCH DRESSING THAT CAME WITH IT!?!
So he gets his one slice..... and waited for 5 minutes before asking about his slice of sausage pizza. The cashier says that they just put it in the oven and that it would be another 7-8 minutes. We had to leave due to time constraints, so my friend got ripped off pretty bad.

At this point, I asked another employee there who the manager was.
Employee: I am.
Me: Well, who is the owner, then?
Employee: I am.
Me: You are the owner?
Employee: Well.... no - my father is.
I had to drag the answer out of this guy.
Finally he gave me his dad's card... I called his dad(the owner) and complained about our experience. He said he would check it out and call me back.....Guess what? No call back.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME ON THIS PLACE! There are plenty of much better pizza places in the city..Do yourself a favor!

Luciano's turned out to be a rather ordinary pizza joint. The food held it's own but nothing screamed out, "This is the best *anything* I've ever had!" The pizza was good, but a little bit too thick for my tastes. True NY-style lovers, I'd advise to try somewhere else. If you like a thicker, more chewy crust, then this joint might be perfect for you.

Also had the hot buffalo wings. I can't say anything bad about them. The wings had a good amount of meat on them, sauce was buffalo sauce, and bleu cheese dressing is pretty standard most anywhere in the Mile High City. They weren't rediculously priced either so I felt like I got what I paid for and the wings would be worth eating again.

The only big downsides were the wait and music selection. I went in during the middle of the week and I was one of two patrons in the restaurant. The other guy already had his food. My food took a bit longer than I was expecting to wait. Just shy of 30 mins for a pizza at a slow service time. That's pretty unacceptable. Also, the music blasting on the radio was a bit obnoxious. Rap and hard rock music certainly don't bother me in a private setting, but for a restaurant, it's a bit offensive hearing cussing-laced lyrics blasting on the speakers. It certainly isn't a family-friendly setting but for a guys night, there were some large flat screens to watch your favorite sports on.

Pros: Above average wings

Cons: Music and slow cook times

The food qualtiy has gotten worse. Some of my favorite menu items now make me sick. The service is not dependable. Some of the new staff is okay but all the familiar faces are gone.

Even the wing sauce recently smelled bad...not good for a place that prides themselves on their wings and even market their own wing sauce but couldn't be bothered to open one of the $6 bottles when we complained about the sauce one night. We were told they were using a substitute because they were out of their own. I saw many bottles for sale, what's up with that? Selling us something that wasn't their own.

Used to recommend this place but I cannot do this any more.

The positive reviewers of this place have to be employees who are, I?m sure, forced at gunpoint to write a bogus positive review as a pre requisite to employment. This place was without a doubt the worst pizza place I have ever ordered from. If I could give it zero stars I would. I cannot even believe this place is still in business. I don't even know how you burn a pizza on the bottom and undercook it on top? The sauce tasted like ketchup and the cheese tasted like paper. This was an hour in my life I will never get back and now I?m sure I will be haunted for the rest of my life because of this experience. Please Please Please don?t ever order from this place. The sooner people realize how bad this place is the sooner it will be out of business. For the love of God stay far far away.

Pros: not a single one

Cons: price, taste, ingredience

We had a very bad experience and would not recommend this restaurant. The crust on our pizza and calzone was completely burned on the outside and doughy and uncooked on the top and inside. In addition the food was just tasteless. We called to complain to the manager and they seemed entirely disinterested in our complaint and did not have any apologizes or show concern for our experience. Would not recommend this to anyone - pizza hut would be better.

I don't know what one of the reviewers was talking about! Gross wings??? I've been to Luciano's several times, and I've never had bad food. The wings are average to large in size, and the sheet of pizza/bucket of wings is the way to go! Lots of food for $40. The cheese on the pizza is plentiful, and is very tasty. They make a very tasty pizza, and I'd say their wings are on par with my other favorite wing venues. I recommend Luciano's to all of my friends, and the staff has always been good. A must try in Denver!

I can think of a thousand places that have better wings. They use Frank's Red Hot as their "special" wing sauce. Their "special" bleu cheese comes out of a jar. The pizza sauce is made from tomato paste and water. The food just isn't original or authentic and they charge an arm and a leg for a pie. I would never eat there again and hope everyone boycotts the place.

My husband is from Buffalo and he says that these wings are 100% authentic and that the Pizza is traditional Buffalo-style pizza, a little bit of thicker crust which is cruncy on the outside and soft on the inside. Let us recommend the Sicilian White. Absolutely great food at great prices, if you are looking for a pizza/wing fix.

If you are really into wings, especially Buffalo Wings then you Must go to luciano's! I was skeptical at first because I have never tasted an authentic Buffalo Wing outside of buffalo, but I was shocked when I had these wings! The taste was on the money, and it actually made me miss the east side of buffalo where I grew up and lived for the first 20 years of my life. Same thing for the pizza! No joke it really brought a tear to my eye. Anyway, I would say going to luciano's is something special, as I have to travel from thornton just to get a taste of home.

I was born and raised in Western New York, I even help run the local chapter of the Colorado Bills Backers. So I know my chicken wings. At Luciano's, I have finally found a home for my craving for Buffalo-style food! The hot wings are outstanding, served pungent and hot with bleu cheese DIP (not dressing!) to chill the heat. And the pizza pie is done in traditional WNY style with a buttery chewy medium thin crust, sweet red tomato sauce, and lots of real-deal mozzarella. I encourage all Denverites to give Luciano's a try!
