This place gets reveiws that are all over the place and that has been our experience with the restaurant. Our first visit was terrific. The service was very good and so was the food. The second time we went here was a differnt story. They were very busy and the meal took forever to deliver to our table. So I am giving it a satisfactory rating because on a good day it is definitely worth it. That said, there are certainly other "sure bet" restaurants in the area. Make reservations.

Not always the best food, but never really bad either. The waiters were great and in the summer it is fun to sit outside.

As soon as i walked into Campo, it was a great atmosphere all around. Customer service was hands down great. From the moment you walk in you get seated right away, with a reservation of course, but that's no trouble in the least. The prices are great for the food you get. I go back at least once or twice a month just to get the anti-pasta plate, which i highly recommend you try. The owner Derek, who is very friendly and has a great sense of humor, has a wine gene, and i may i say a great gene at that. If you ever want to step into France for a night try Campo de Fiori, and its anti-pasta plate with a glass of wine.

We went to the Denver (Cherry Creek) Campo de Fiori last night for the first time and were very impressed, all around. They immediately served three different types of warm bread with great oil already on the table. They offer 1/2 portions which allowed us to order many different things - all amazing. The service was great, fast, and knowledgeable. The wine list was very good and the Cab was served at the correct temperature. The lamb gnocchi is phenomenal and our favorite. We will be back - one of the best Italian dinners we have had in or around Denver (and we have had a lot!).

Pros: Excellent food - fresh, delicious, and perfect servings. Ambience is great, too!

Cons: Random bright lights mixed in with the soft candles and other soft lighting - threw off the 'vibe'.

We went to Campo De Fiori as part of Denver Restaurant week. Getting a reservation was a nightmare in itself. Once we did have one for our group of 8, we were treated very poorly on arrival. They made it very clear that since we weren't all there until 10 minutes after our reservation time that we would have to eat quickly as they had other reservations coming in after us. Don't get me wrong - I don't like being late and I wouldn't expect the restaurant to make me wait either. But to then tell us we would get limited service and be rushed through dinner all because of 10 minutes? Before I have even sat down? Perhaps they didn't want our business?

We all ordered and then were shoved through our meal. Entrees came before appetizers were half eaten. Drinks were not offered refills. And then there was the salmon. 3 of us in the group ordered it so when I took a bit of mine I thought perhaps mine was the only one with the problem. I took another bite and realized I couldn't eat it. It was like eating a salt lick. I asked the others if their Salmon was okay and they said - is yours really salty? We all had 80% of our Salmon left when the waiter came to clear our plates. Not once asking if something was wrong.

Dessert was also rushed. I understand that when you are doing a set course dinner, it's probably not a big money maker. But the whole point was to get people in there so they would come back and spend money. I know 8 people in Denver who will never be returning.

I am not easily impressed. Thanks to a large income and a generous employer, i travel alot and eat well. Campo was not my first choice that fateful night, but all the stars aligned and we ended up there. The foos was "to die for", the service was excellent and the ambiance was perfect. We had apps, entrees and desert. Every bite was outstanding and we escaped with plenty of money in our pockets. I would HOGHLY recommend this restaurant to the most discriminating pallettes.

My husband and I came here after reading a review in 5280 and we were both blown away! Luckily we made a reservation because there was not a dull minute in the restaurant. Our server was so sweet and recommended a great appetizer and bottle of wine. The food was phenominal, reminded my husband and I of being back in Italy. Great service, great food...we'll be back!

No,... not the TV show, the experience at Campo! This place has a good location, cool ambiance, a nice bar area, great waitstaff & delicious food & wine. Good people watching is standard at Campo;can you say pretty girls? It's one of the few places I've found Di Majo Norante's Contado, an excellent & afforadable wine. The grilled seafood salad is Italian cooking at it best;simple & excellent with no hint of pretense. The Veal specials are always excellent, the sauces tasty,& the desert plates are a pleasureable to look at as they are to taste. I bring dates here regularly & always seem to have a good time.Yes it can be crowded sometimes, but I've never had to wait long. You can brush elbows with players from the Av's & Nuggets ,so you know the food must be good.

Pros: Excellent staff, food & wine. You can tell the chef knows his food.

Cons: Sometimes hard to park before 7PM

My experience at campo di fiori was not plesant. The food is overpriced and anything but delicious. Save your money and taste-buds and keep walking past the front door.

We went to Campo de Fiori for a fun night out on a friend's birthday. When we arrived for our 7:30 reservation we weren't seated until 40 minutes later. 20 minutes later our server finally approached our table for a drink order, which took 25 minutes to arrive. She said she'd be back "in a few minutes" to take our order, but it took 30 minutes. After we finally ordered our food and more drinks it took 20 minutes to get the drinks. Dinner, when it finally arrived, was unimpressive. The Romana salads were heavily laden in creamy dressing and our entrees were not worth $30 a plate, especially after terrible service. After talking with a manager his "excuse" was that they were busy. The view from our large table was of EMPTY tables by the time we were finally sat. We will not be returning.

We recently celebrated our 3rd anniversary there and the food and service was GREAT!! The atmosphere was very relaxed but not too relaxed. We had our 5 month old with us so don't be afraid to bring your children. Our server, Robert, was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. We HIGHLY recommend this place!! The sushi next door is not bad either. . .

We love Campo. It is a wonderful place to eat and the staff is so friendly. We always have a wonderful time and love to take our friends there.
If you have a big group of friends that you you want to take, they have a fun private dining area that you can reserve.

Beautiful atmosphere, food just like I was served in Tuscany and Sienna, great personable service, upbeat social atmosphere- best Italian I've had in Denver. Highly recommended.
