This place was recommended to me by some co-workers for my upcoming wedding so I went to the website to check it out. The website is fantastic, but mis-leading. There are all kinds of 'hidden' costs. Just looking at the website it appears that you can get a wedding banquet package including linens, napkins and dinnerware. But after calling and talking to them I discovered that the linens are a standard fit linen (whatever that is) which doesn't fit my table, so there is an additional fee. There is also additional fees for colors of linens. They also tack on beverages (which is just iced tea, lemonade and water) at $1.75 per person. $1.75 for lemonade? And a catering fee (ours is around $500), server fee (who knew servers made $23/hour), and a fuel charge. Looking at the website we thought we would be paying around $2000 for our entire wedding. Our estimate topped out at $2600 ($600 in hidden fees). And our estimate didn't include the fees for linens, cake cutting set, cake plates and forks, the 20% required gratuity, or the 20% required set up fee.
Also, we have to sign a contract before the tasting. They said we could cancel after the tasting if we don't like it, but then why do we have to sign?
I sure hope the food is good!
