Surrounded by brick and stone reminders of Denver's colorful past, The Wazee Supper Club has long been an inevitable destination for social gatherers. The Wazee Supper Club, with its classic urban atmosphere, has earned favor with artists, politicians, architects, theater-goers, entertainers, businessmen, movers, shakers and generally people of good character from around the globe. The Wazee also quickly became known as a source of the best pizza in the civilized world.
I love the Wazee Supper Club! It's been around for eons and it's always good. The pizzas are exceptional and it's in a funky part of lower downtown, kind of hidden, but it's a great place that's just fun to go to.

The pizza was delicious. A friend took me to this "favorite pizza place" of his for a celebration and I will most certainly return! The atmosphere is fun...old school type. It's family friendly, but also a great place for friends to meet for a drink! And have I mentioned the PIZZA??? It's a crispy crust, not too thick, not flaky thin and the sauce is perfect. The server and all of the staff were very friendly and overly accommodating. The Wazee is a 'must not miss' if you're in Denver.

The Wazee is one of the oldest staples and watering holes in LoDo.People come from all over to stop at Wazee. They are known by the brewing community for their unique 15-20 beers on tap as well as their excellent pizzas and burgers. My husband and I love their burgers and he is part of the brewing community so he approves their beers. The ambiance is not what one goes there for ... it is a 40 year old staple of the community and very homey with good service and excellence in food and beer.

The Wazee Super Cub Boasting "the best pizza in the civilized world," and other great items like appetizers, salads, sandwiches, strombolis and burgers. One of the few places in town that serves food until 1:00am, so drop in and hang out!

One of the great places with character in downtown Denver...good pizza, salad and calzones...I would recommend it to anyone.
Pros: Great location close to Coors Field and The Can
Cons: Not great if you like NY style pizza, more deep dish...

Funny thing about this place. You go in and you immediately feel at home. My wife and I love this place. The bartenders are great. The best we have found in Denver. Very funny and entertaining. Obviously they love their jobs. The wait staff is equally great. The food is really good and the kitchen staff is very competent and also friendly. Can't beat this ICON of LODO. Thanks to all.
Pros: Open, clean, great staff
Cons: Parking downtown

We had lunch and found this to be a very good restaurant. Very casual and the menu consists of pizza, calzone, salad, burgers and other typical items found in a bar atmosphere. The pizza crust is as good as you are going to get. Will go back as the service is tops as well.
Pros: Tasty pizza and very reasonable pricing
Cons: parking

Wazee supper club is a great place for lunch , happy hour , dinner, or a late night drink or meal. The service is great no matter who takes care of you, but if you want the best service go in and sit at the bar with Tony, Jenn, and Quinton or as his tabs say Qdog! the food is awesome but the atmosphere of the bar is great. Overall its the best pizza in lodo hands down! Make sure you go visit the wazee supper club you wont be disappointed!
Pros: Area
Cons: Sometimes parking during games

Great food, location, and atmosphere. We like the diverse menu. The video describes Wazee Supper Club perfectly!

While the food is awesome...I prefer the service from the guy that names himself "Q." He's a badass bartender I must say. Go see him...ask for him...and if he's not there...the rest will treat you well. Awesome place...overall!!!!!!

The only reason this place is able to survive is because of its location, and that its in Denver. The Denver restaurant scene makes sub-par places like this able to stay in business.
Pros: location
Cons: food

Literally the BEST sandwich I've eaten in my entire life. I live in Boulder, and don't really like to venture outside of that 5 square miles, but I make trips to Denver just to eat at Wazee and recommend it to everyone.

I happened upon Wazee Supper Club because of the location...it's just down the street from the Grand Salon. The staff is friendly and I have been seated quickly. The pizza is exceptional and the ambiance is worth the visit. They serve other items besides pizza, but I haven't been able to force myself to order anything else...the pizza is that good! Always a pleasant experience.

Not a fan of the pizza at WSC. The crust is thick and gooey. It just seems cheap and pre-made. Not for real pizza lovers... more for folks who are into compromise.

A friend introduced me to Wazee years ago. I had tried several items on the menu before I finally tried the pizza. I was ashamed I waited so long. The crust is crispy, yet soft and chewy, not tough, and not soggy. Great selection of toppings, and all very good too. There is usally a long wait before and after avs or nuggets games, but the staff has always been friendly and its easy to grab a drink at the bar while you wait. I recently moved to Seattle and am constantly in search of a place I like as much as Wazee. Until I find that place, I will have to make due with stopping by every time I am in town.
Pros: Pizza, Service
Cons: None

We got a coupon for a free pizza at Wazee supper club from a book store and gave it a try....so glad we did. It's great pizza with lots of choices for toppings...not the same boring pepperoni and sausage (although they do have those.) Their pizza is great tasting and not greasy like chain pizza joints. I would recommend this place. We get our pizza to go a lot, but the times we've eaten there the wait staff has always been cool.
Pros: good pizza
Cons: maybe parking sometimes

I totally fell in love with the pizza at the supper club! I am craving it now. The service was so friendly. The crust held all the toppings without drooping, and the choices were different and savory.

The Wazee Supper Club has been a Denver staple for many years. I'm glad it's still around for its atmosphere and excellent service. But, to say it has the best pizza in town is a gross overstatement. The pizza IS good, but I've had a frozen California Pizza that was just as good. However, you can't beat the atmosphere and the service, so I hope it's around for many more years to come.

I LOVE Wazee's pizza. The crust is just the right thickness. Tell them to bake it "well done" for a really crisp crust on the bottom as well as the rim. The balance of cheese and toppings to crust is perfect. The spot is unpretentious, the draft beer is good.

Small and crowded - the best dining is upstairs overlooking the classic bar and the black & white checkerboard marble floor - Jazz is available on some nights - the pizza is good - there's a good late night grill menu - this is a good place for dinner before making your way to the Pepsi Center for a Denver Nuggets game - the micro brews are about average.
Pros: Rustic Eatery, Good Grill Menu, Good Pizza
Cons: Evening Crowds, No Patio Dining, No Entertainment

We had not been to the Wazee in many years and decided to go before the Avalanche game. The pizza was okay (not as good as it used to be), but the service was terrible. When we first came in it was seat yourself so we did. Only to be told we could not sit at that table. We moved to a dirty table that the waitress washed as we set there. She was not very pleasant. I know the next time we will go elsewhere.
Pros: cold beer
Cons: Bad service, Rude waitstaff, Dirty

Still one of the best in LODO. Forget the trendy places, this is the real deal.
Pros: Great Pizza, Cold Beer
Posted 12/08/02
This place is great for pizza, and serves food late (for Denver). The service might be rude, but that is part of the charm.
Pros: food, atmosphere
Posted 11/21/02
I love pizza and wazee makes right. Atmosphere no extra charge. 2nd choice Edgewater and save a some $.
Pros: atmosphere, professional service
Cons: little pricey

I found the Wazee Supper Club pizza to be scrumptious and always served hot and with a smile. Whenever I have friends in town from the East Coast, this is where I take them for great pizza.
Pros: Pizza, atmosphere, wait staff
Cons: too loud sometimes

I think that said it all. Lots of fresh and interesting toppings, awesome sauces, and amazing crusts.

I too am a fan of Chicago pizza. However, Chi-town (birthplace of the deep dish) pizza is very unique and not necessarily the best pie. I personally, find NY style pizza to be the best. Wazee has a form of NY style pizza, but with a crispier crust. A great pie and a great atmosphere. My favorite pizza in Denver.
Pros: Great Food, Friendly Staff, Great Location
Cons: Not open every day

Great pizza in an upbeat atmosphere. I highly recommend it!
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Smoking

Coming from Chicago, I'd like to say I know a bit about outstanding pizza. Wazee's is ok pizza. First off, it arrived burnt on one side. The server was upfront about it, saying that the oven had been baking them unevenly all night. She discounted the pizza, which was fine, but the old adage about a master craftsman never blaming his tools comes to mind. The unburnt side was still only an ok pie.

This place has cool history, Nice staff, great atmosphere, and, by far - the best pizza in town. Often overlooked, once you try the Wazee's pizza, you'll never go back to the trendy places. The other food's good too. But try the pizza!
