George was recommended to my by a good friend after I had a terrible butcher job from a previous stylist. George took the horrible cut and turned it into a fabulous trendy bob! He always has wonderful suggestions for cuts and color that work for you and your lifestyle. As long as George is around I will never trust anyone else with my hair!

One of the biggest sources of stress in a new town can be finding a new hair place (it's true). Appointments are attainable, stylists are dependable, and talented. Because of the great cut and color I get from Jody, people stop me on the street and ask me where I get my hair done. I have board straight, long (boring?) hair, and Jody has created peace with it. The highlinghts last for 3-4 months and when getting it cut, I give him guidelines, not specifics. It is worth trusting people who do hair for a living. Bangs trims are every 3 weeks and free. Parking is usually not a problem, and the gatekeepers will make change for the parking meter. The art changes every few months and is a source of conversation.

I started going to Luxe Salon a little over a year ago when I moved to Denver. I found it online and after reading several positive reviews I made an appointment with George Arias. He and I are an absolute match made in Heaven! He is so knowledgable about different hair types and styles. To say that I am picky about my hair is putting it very nicely and not once have I had a complaint after walking out of a salon visit with George. He took me from a very long style below the shoulders to the most fabulous short cut! I trust his opinion and he's always up on the latest hairstyle trends which is important to me. If you're searching for a stylist that will give you the same great consistent results every time, look no further than George.

I've been going to Luxe since it opened and often taken whoever was available to cut/ color my hair because the results have always been good. For the past two years or so, however, I've been consistently booking George Arias because of the extra good results. He has many years of experience, remembers my idiosyncracies and helped me move from long and tired to short and stylish this past June - a leap of faith not easily made but I haven't regretted it once. I asked him to decide on the cut based on my hair type and he delivered! I recommend him highly. If you're lucky you can see his art on the walls, as well (his alter ego is as fine artist).

Pros: George is consistently great; if unavailable other stylists are also very good.
Cons: just a little pricey

I recently moved to Denver from New York and after having several bad experiences in Denver, I decided to try George at Luxe. He came recommended by a friend. What a pleasant time! He took the time to give me the best consultation I ever had and after coming to an understanding, he proceeded to deliver the goods and then some. Great color and cut!
I love his professionalism, his talent, his sense of humor and intelligence. I highly recommend him. I have visited him 3 times now and love his consistency.

Pros: He is always punctual, taking care of small details like helping you feed the meter.
Cons: Metered street parking or Garage parking only.
