Danny's Grooming is one of the best pet groomers in the Denver area. Danny has a large, dedicated fan/client base. He has been our groomer for two Yorkshire Terriers for more than 10 years. Stewart and Colbert (the Yorkies) are always excited to go see Danny.

Danny is a reliable and trustworthy pet grooming service provider. He and his firm have our utmost trust and satisfaction. For your dogs (espcailly Yorkies), I think that you cannot go wrong with Danny.

Thank you. I need a groomer for a cat who hates scissors, clippers or a brush so I need a kind groomer. Danny's sounds like a nightmare! It occurred to me he wrote the only good review. Why is he still open?!?

I took my cat to get groomed here a couple weeks ago. The guy was totally unprofessional..first off, he asked me to come to the back with him which I thought was strange. Usually a groomer just takes your cat and you leave or wait in the lobby.. He then proceeded to ask me to take my cat out of his crate for him, I thought that was his job.-? He then asked me to hold my own cat down while he was grooming him, which was even more strange. The cat was extremely nervous, The groomer had no sedation or any other way to hold the cat down other than myself. There were'nt even any other people working there. The entire place seemed extremely dirty, hair was flying around in the air and on the floor. He had no doors to prevent an animal from running away if they jumped off the table.

He then proceeded to take my cat to another room and dumped him in a tub, the cat was freaking out big time. He then brought him to another room which had no door, and just a table, no harness or anything to put the cat into. And just held the cat down while he tried to dry him with this blower. The cat jumped about 5 feet into the air and fell to the ground, and the groomer accidentally kicked my cat. The cat then ran out of the room and tried to run down these sketchy looking stairs, the groomer ran after him and tried to pick him up by his skin, but the cat wouldn't let him. He then asked me to pick him up so I did, scared that the groomer was going to hurt him, the cat was clinging on to me for dear life . Even after I questioned him saying "are you sure you still want to dry him, I think hes probably going to freak out again. " he said..."well why don't you just hold him down for me, that way the cat will be more relaxed"....reluctantly and not wanting the cat to get hurt again I held him down for the groomer and as soon as he turned the blower on the cat attacked my hand. It was unbelievably painful and the cat bit me in about 10 different places...not to mention the multiple scratches I had all over my hand and arm from his hind legs. The groomer started freaking out and ran to get hyrdrogen peroxide, (which is not good to use on skin), and without my conscent, poured it all over my bleeding hand. He then proceeded to make a bunch of phone calls, which I couldn't hear because I was in the middle of calling my husband to take me to emergency, because my hand and fingers were swelling up like sausages.

He(groomer) told me I did not need to go to emergency and that my hand would be fine the next day. so we waited until the next day and my hand was even more swollen so we went to emergency, where they had to give me an iv, put me on antibiotics, and told me i may need to see a hand surgeon if it got any worse. I had to go back the next day and have another I v to put the swelling down.. all this cost us about 800 dollars...never mind the time that we both had to take off work to go to emergency and drive out there and gas...

when I called the guy he told me he could not pay for any damages and had no insurance to cover any of my medical bills. -Ive had to go back to the emergency about 5 or 6 times because of how bad the infection got. This guy doesnt even have insurance....I don't even know hows hes even allowed to be up and running.

So do yourself a favour DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE...the guy does NOT know what hes doing and you are risking either your animal or yourself getting very badly injured....

I hope by me posting this, people will learn who this guy really is, and that I will save another person or animal ,personal injury or worse,- due to this guy being so incompetent and not knowing how to run a business.

I was not pleased with the treatment my dog received at Danny's. I first started taking my dog there because I wanted to support a small, neighborhood business. I've taken my dog there more than once, and each time I left him he seemed very anxious and when I returned he was extremely eager to see me. He has never acted that way at other grooomers. The last time I took him, I later noticed dried blood and a gash in his neck. The staff did not tell me that they cut him, and it was big enough that I find it hard to believe that they didn't notice. I have decided to find a different groomer for my dog.

Danny is a great dog groomer. I have been taking my dog Tucker to him for 5 years he does a great job... parking is a pain sometimes as it is right next to the bluebird. Danny keeps his shop clean and his staff are very nice.
