Whatever you do, make reservations. This is a quaint restaurant with limited seating space, but worth the trouble. Food is excellent, great wine list, and the prices are not too high for fine dining in a resort area. If you do not mind, you can sit and order at the bar. The prices on certain items are reduced, (bar menu) and you do not have to have a reservation. I had the most delicious tropical salad, and my husband was very pleased with the steak her ordered cooked to perfection.

Apparently not!
My party consisted of 9 people. I knew to call for reservations. We arrived on time with great anticipation of a fabulous meal. Our table was ready and our server was friendly...We all orderd...All the steaks ordered were either medium or medium well. To me that means that the steak should not be pink. I believe 4 steaks were returned to be cooked longer and again they were still pink inside when they were served the second time.
Our server was very apologetic and insisted on bringing the manger. He arrived and saw the recooked steaks and said that in his opinion that was medium. I have dined at some of the finest restaurants in the world and we definitely have a difference of opinion on what medium is. He of course credited all the steaks that weren't eaten. I thought he might have offered to comp a dessert or something....That didn't happen.
One guest ordered a burger and it was delivered raw and it was returned to be cooked to the medium he too had requested. Again, it came out raw. He returned it, and in disgust and left the restaurant. I am the one that had selected the restaurant and felt so embarrased. Our service started out subperb but, after we complained we rarely saw our wait person or her assistant again. The restaurant was busy but , had 4 empty tables upstairs where we were.
Because of a medical condition, I drink at least a gallon of liquids a day. I like iced tea and not tea with a few ice cubes people usually serve. I drank 3 glasses of tea and of course needed more. I finally saw the waitress and requested a refill. She stated that I thought you were finished. She failed to ever ask me. I guess her psychic ability had failed her this evening. My girfriend ordered the ravioli and I the Ahi tuna which were both excellent.

I cannot recommend this restaurant in good faith. We are easy to please but, they chose not too accommodate us. On the way out another guest overheard us and said she too had the same problem.

Pros: Beautiful restaurant and the staff started out friendly but, failed near the end of the meal

Cons: Don't order beef unless you like it med rare to raw!
