Cervantes is a great place to go for a concert. It is small but can fit lots of people. They give great shows and give out water for free. The drinks are not very expensive either. They also have a small area on the left side for sitting at small tables.
4Cervantes has some of the best shows in town. They do not have the name that the Fillmore or Ogden do, but that does not stop them from getting great acts. They also host other cultural events like Cafe Nuba every month. The set up is great and the crowd really gives you a local feel. Being east of downtown, the concerts do not get advertised as well as the downtown venues, but this place is always worth checking out.

Cervantes is a great place for live music and dancing. They always book great bands and are very friendly and helpful. The location is really easy to get to off the light rail and I always have a good time.
5Battle of the Bands 03/16/2008 was very disappointing. Cider Court was the headliner band gave an amazing show...the audience clearly felt they should walk away with the contest. One judge...the owner? decides the winner?!!! It was supposed to be judged by the audience. We plan to follow Cider Court to every venue....I don't think anyone should even bother with Cervantes.
