I buy a $300 head unit. I also buy the $200 4 year warranty. All goes well for about 2 years with my head unit. I did buy this in Seattle, where car toys actually knows what they're doing. I moved to highlands ranch, so I had to bring my head unit here for a repair. They keep my head unit for 2-3 months and then give it back to me saying they fixed it. 2 months later, it has the same exact problem. I bring it back in for warranty for the same problem... 2 months go by... This time, I got sick of waiting so long to hear about how things were going, I called them. The technician goes "Oh yea, it's sitting here in the back". So no one ever called me to tell me my head unit was in. The first technician I talked to said they fixed it, and I should come get it installed right away. I get in my car and head to 470, while I'm in my car on my way, I get another phone call from another employee, and he said basically the other technician was an idiot and didnt know what was going on and my head unit was damaged during repair, and now I'm getting a free upgrade, and I'll get a phone call next day. I WAS HAPPY WITH CAR TOYS FOR ONCE. NEXT DAY.... I had to call them back at 4pm, cause go figure! NO ONE CALLED ME.... I get a hold of the manager, Jeff. Jeff tells me my head unit is not covered under warranty, and I somehow abused a head unit that sat in my dash to the point that a chip set cracked. I work with computers TOO MUCH, so I know how much force it would take to crack a chipset that small... PLEASE..... I'm so glad I kept my receipt saying they fixed it the first time. Jeff is a shiesty ass hole. He was acting like I was making my whole story up. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. especially when someone dropped $500 on their GARBAGE SERVICE

This store recently changed managers and you can tell! These guys are bozos ... I took my car in for a Navigation System update. I called ahead, made a appointment ... they said it would take an hour. One hour and 1/2 later no phone call. I showed up and could tell the car hadn't been touched. I was right ... they FORGOT about it ... seriously!! And when I confronted the manager he made excuses. No sorry, no let me make it right ... I walked out and said I wouldn't be back. I won't be ... do NOT take your vehicle to this Car Toys!!!!

I bought a used car that had a system upgrade from Car Toys installed in it. After a while, both the car audio and subwoofer amps blew out. I went to Car Toys to get them replaced with supposedly better quality amps. What a huge headache

I had a car radio & speaker install and it took over 3 hours. The rep assured me it would be done before the store closes at 9pm. But it wasn't done until 9:30 (my appt was at 6pm). I went there for the quality of the install but it's not worth the extra time and money. I won't use them again.

High quality components and installation, but all at a significant (inflated) price premium. Management and sales personal are well versed in classic bait and switch methodology. Funny how they can't show you the invoiced printed break-down on components, parts, materials, and installation until AFTER you pay for it. Get the "deal" details, especially on the install, before anything gets started and don't be afraid to walk out. Overall, slimy sales experience, could do much better.

I agree with the comment that Park Meadows Car Toys are scam artists. When I bought an XM receiver from them for my car, they sold me an $80 additional policy that they said at the time I could use if I needed to have the radio moved into another car. When I came back later to have this done, they suddenly changed their tune. Even the guy who sold it to me told me that "I had misunderstood him, that he would never have said that." Sorry but that's BS. You did say so. And I'm glad to have this opportunity to let others know that they will lie to you to get your money. I would never have anything to do with these people again.
