I drive a long way to buy at applejack's. It is the best stocked and best price of any of their competitor's. I purchase wine and liquor and they are the best place to buy. Friendly and helpful personal work there.

Apple Jack has everything you would ever need for a party. Their selection is amazing and the sales are unbelievable at times. The only downside can be the long waits at times if you are in a rush. But if you have time, wander through and enjoy all they have to offer!

Applejacks has been my source for great wine buys for a number of years. There may be stores which are more convenient- ie less crowded & accept credit cards -but really the friendly wine reps Applejacks employs to assist their customers have such a wealth of knowledge I always know I will walk out with something new, exciting, & incredibly tasty. My friends are always so impressed with my "new discoveries". Not too mention the lovely young couple,Shawn & Dave, who run the wine department. They are always giving me the 411 on some great new Pinot Noir's or helping me pick a "special" bottle from their private bordeaux reserve. Just tell them what you are looking for and they will be more than happy to point you in the right direction.

This is defiinitely a high volume business. Many of the "staff" on the floor work for either the distributor or the producer. If you are buying high volume items, this is the place to buy the items you would be hard pressed to find a cheaper alternative for across the board pricing. If, however you are looking to buy high dollar items I would look elsewhere. The First growth Bordeaux are locked in glass enclosures under bright lights - not exactly prime cellaring conditions. It does not exactly show well when the Opus One is on the bottom shelf with mop stains on it. Also, Make sure you sign-up for the frequent shopper club - the extra discount is worth it.
PROS: Best overall prices in the metro area
CONS: Do not buy wines you want to cellar, no credit cards.

They have some of the best prices I have seen. I now know why they are always busy. Its hard to find a parking spot. Its just as busy inside as it is out. Thats why they have great prices. Cheap beer, wine, what more do you want.

This is the Walmart of local liquor stores. Some other places may have sale prices lower than Applejack's regular prices, but Applejack has frequent sales, too, and those prices are unbeatable. Their selection of beers, wines, and distilled spirits is just as hard to beat. For a bottle or two, it's not always convenient, but if you're stocking up, it's worth the drive to Applejack's.
PROS: Stocks an amazing selection of beverages
CONS: No credit cards accepted - cash or check only
