Knowledgeable sales people and they carry the purchases to your car; just like the old days! The kennel is priced below the competition and every dog and cat are exercised several times a day and at night as well! They sell animal food, human vitamins, gifts, Carhart clothing, and will fill your gas bottles. This is a valued added place!

I agree that the service can be a bit slow... but it's not bad... just don't be in a hurry when you go there. This is a feed store that town grew around after all -- not a boutique pet shop.

Boarding rates are reasonable and they take cats. I never left my dog there b/c I like to take him to places where he can play with other dogs and Willow Run is a more traditional set up. But I used to take my cat all the time and they always took really good care of him.

Now that I've moved down to Denver, I wish I could find someplace like Willow Run where I could board my cat at a reasonable price and get my Canidae dog food as conveniently.

If the review about the return policy is true, I'd be careful about buying any hard goods from them though.

Outstanding service - they are very willing to help you find what you need, and provide great recommendation. Wonderful people to work with.

Pet Care - My dog (Chester) just loves going into Willow Run and when he stays I almost think he doesn't want to come home. He is well groomed and taken care of.

I find customer service to be the number one reason I shop at a place. I have been to willow run 3 times now and all 3 time the service was very poor. Thrird time is a charm and I will never go back to this store, I can get my high quality dog food else were at the same price with MUCH better service.

I bought a $70.00 stock tank heater. I put it in my stock tank before it got cold enough to be needed. When it did get cold I found the stock tank frozen.
I brought the heater back to Willow Run hoping to exchange it for another one. I was told that there was no exchange and since the heater had a warranty, I would have to send it to the company for repair or replacement.
This is the first time I've experienced not being able to exchange or get a refund for a defective product from the merchant who sold it to me.
I buy my grain at Willow Run and have done so for years. I am disappointed that they have a "no-return" policy and although I will continue to buy my grain, I will not recommend them for any other purchases.

I'm very finicky about the food I give my Australian Shepherd...only the best, most natural stuff around. Willow Run's supply of natural pet foods is HUGE and the staff there is very knowledgeable about all of it. They also have food/supplies for horses, cats and birds. You can even refill your propane tank there. I highly recommend Willow Run!
