Mia & Maxx Hair Studio

I have been to Mia and Maxx a few times now. Sean is a really good stylist. He listens to what you want, adds his thoughts and suggestions but in the end you get exactly what YOU WANT. He doesn't try to push you around like other stylists from other salons. He truly listens to you. Amazing concept. I would recommend him to anyone.

The first visit there, I had the best haircut in my life. I have short hair and I couldn't find a thing wrong. The second time I went in, I got a mohawk. The worst cut. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. I told the stylist, that I loved my first haircut and that I would give her another chance. I will never go back to Mix & Maxx Hair Studio in Broomfield again.

I thought the staff was rather rude.

The staff was nice and the girls working here all had good hair (which is always a good sign) It is located in the Flatirons mall so it is really convienient when you are shopping to just drop in and get your hair done too! They take awhile to do hair coloring but who doesn't? I would go to them again.

I've been here a couple of times and I must say that the people are quite friendly, nice and willing to work with you on the style you want for your hair. However, I had a bad experience with this salon. I went in to get a haircut, just the routine trim. My hair used to be a lighter color than it was and the roots were coming out. However, I didn't want to fry it anymore than it already was. The hairstylist there convinced me to get the color neutralized, all one color. That was a big mistake. She ended up putting pure black permanent dye in my hair, which my natural hair color is close to black but not black. So I ended up looking like a goth for a couple of months before I redyed it.

PROS: Friendly atmosphere, open to suggestions, good pricing
CONS: Be careful what you get yourself into and ask alot of questions ..
