In 2005 I had taken my 97 ford f-250 Diesel into Kellers for service. Stephen (not Steve Edison) was my service writer, and called me to authorize the work for around $600. Soon after I had the same problem and took my truck in again. Stephen never called, except to tell me that my truck was done, only to arrive and find that I owed another $800. In late February my truck was not running right again, so I took in back. After asking that they call me to get my approval for any more service, again the only call I got was to tell me that the service was done, this time to find a $3000 bill. I advised Stephen that I would not immediately be able to pay, and he said that I could make payments as I was able. Through my financial struggles, I managed to get them $250 at least every three months. My personal and professional life were very hectic, and occasionally the payment slipped my mind, or I was just not able. On average I paid $65 per month since the service.

On December 14th, I attempted to use my Debit card and was declined, even though I knew I had enough funds. I went home only to find that without my approval or knowledge that Kellers had charged my card five times in a row for $250. This drained all of my savings, and overdraft line of credit, and left me with $26, 1 week before Christmas.

I contacted Steve Edison by phone and asked why this happened, his reply was that he had waited long enough for me to pay the bill, and felt that I was "screwing him around", and refused to refund the charges. Steve told me that he had called me several times over the last few months on my cell, which is an outright lie, my detailed cell bill confirms such. He explained to me that My boss (Mr.Keller) told me that I had to do whatever it takes for me to get the money. To which I responded Even if its fraud?, its not fraud! was Steves reply. I tried to reason with him, and he did not care that he took my house payment, the food off my table, and any money I had for Christmas for my family and my 5 year old daughter.

I am very appreciative for the patience and understanding there has been in the time that it has taken for me to pay my debt. And I expressed my gratitude with every phone call that I returned when I was actually contacted. None the less, it in no way gives Kellers the right to charge my debit card without my permission, or knowledge. This shop repeatedly did not call for any authorization for repairs on my vehicle, and then charged my debit card on more than one occasion without my knowledge, and refused to rectify the situation when I brought it to their attention.

I WILL NEVER BRING ANY WORK TO KELLERS AND WILL ADVISE ANYONE I KNOW TO DO THE SAME.

These guys saved me over $800 in unnecessary repairs. A tire franchise recommended a bunch of work. I took the list to Kellers and they said I needed only 2 small items. These guys are honest and have my business for life!!

I took my 94 Buick to Keller's for brake service because of the free loaner car offer. I was told they don't loan cars for inspections, which is what I needed them to do before repairing the brakes. The person on duty went ahead and loaned me a Chrysler Intrepid anyway.

Some minor annoyances with the car, speedometer is in kilometers not miles, the radio doesn't work, and the bill was about $15 dollars more than I was quoted as an "out-the-door" price; not big deals just annoyances. The major issue I had was that I work on a military base and must have current registration and insurance for a vehicle to enter the base. The registration for the Intrepid expired two months previous and the insurance had expired 6 months previous. So I couldn't get to work, and had to drive back to the shop and exchange vehicles, then drive back to work. This cost me three hours of work which I am unable to make up due to the fact I already work two jobs.

When I asked if they could do anything to help me out, I was thinking a little ($75) off the total bill. The statement that was relayed to me from the manager, via the rep was, "We already did you a favor, by loaning you the car.". When I picked up my Buick, another service rep told that Intrepid was out of commission and I shouldn't have gotten it anyway.

The loaner car service is the only reason I chose them, there are plenty of other mechanics around with good/great reputations. Next time I'll choose someone else.

I would rate Kellers a Five star buisness. Why I would rate them so high is they treated me with nothing but exellent customer service and respect. I had brought my vehicle in for repair and was so worried about how much the repairs were going to cost. When I got the call back from kellers about my vehicle I was very supprised for two reasons. I was supprised because they got my car in so quickly to see what was wrong and also because they were so helpful with the costs of getting my car fixed. I feel now that I have got more than a car repair with Kellers. I got a friendship

PROS: You will recieve nothing but respect from them.

Ratings_icons They lie!

I brought my car to Keller's to check on the squealing problem a few days ago. The technician told me that the $90 diganose fee would apply to the repair fee afterwards if I decide to fix the car problem at Keller's since they would not need to open the car once more. The next day, when I went to get my fixed car back I found the $90 was not deducted from the repair labor charge. I asked about it and they told me that they couldn't do that! It is only one days difference and they double charged labor fee.

Be aware!
