My favorite sitdown Mexican stop in Denver...great food and good service. I would say just the decor needs to be updated as the only improvement that can make this place better. Try the Fajitas and Pollo!

Oddly enough, my parents waited tables at Garcia's (the old Aurora location) back in the 80's! Not much has changed. The pollo fundido is still the best thing on the menu. Well priced, good service and consistent food.

My family and I eat here fairly regularly. Their burritos are excellent and must have a whole steak in them! Great quality. No fatty bits. The veg in them is excellent and it's not a greasy mess. Wonderful grill taste. The jalepeno

Arrived at 7:00pm on a busy night, got sat right away in a cozy booth on the upper level. Hot chips with fresh salsa arrived right after we sat down. Server (David) was super freindly and suggested the Magnifico Margarita. This Margarita is incredible it's served in a metal glass with a strainer and is large enough to share ( I didn't share mine!!!) The food was wonderful everything was served on hot plates and tasted great. Dessert was chocolate chimichangas I have never had anything like them but I will going back to get more. Everything was great certainly a fun night out.

Garcia's is my all-time favorite Mexican Restaurant around! The food is authentic and delicious, the service is always great, I love the happy hour special, the only thing that is a bit of a bummer is you can't get the happy hour special if you aren't seated in the bar area unless you go and order the drinks up at the bar yourself, which isn't that bad, but it's kind of a bummer for your waiter because they miss out on tips! I definitely reccomend to anybody and everybody.

My friends call me a chicken tortilla soup critic and say I should write a book as I try it everywhere I go! I have eaten chicken tortilla soup from Maine to California from Texas to Minnesota and never found anything that compares to Garcia's! Whenever I am in Denver I make sure to visit at least once. Between the great soup and the outstanding margaritas it's hard to leave!

My daughter and I love to go to Garcia's! We always enjoy the meals and the decor, but our favorite part is dessert - miniature chocolate tortillas with melty cream cheese and chocolate chips inside, topped with chocolate and caramel sauce and served with ice cream. Yummy! These are too rich for some people, but that's okay, it just leaves more for us! We always have good service, the prices are good, and the seating area is large, so there lots of different views within the restaurant. I've never had a bad experience at Garcia's.

Visiting from Toronto I was looking for somewhere quick, but not generic, to eat. Garcia's was the closest to my hotel so I went to try it out. Initial thoughts were that it was full of Hispanic families, so it must be at least okay! Good prompt service, good food (great refried beans and guac!) and fantastic margaritas. Try the El Magnifico, you won't regret it! Good family atmosphere, waiter was attentive, food was authentic and tasty. Table was a little dirty. Price was $20 for food (main and dessert) and $10 for my vat of margarita. I'll be visiting again before I leave for sure.

Pros: Food, margaritas, atmosphere.

Cons: Not perfectly clean, but still fair.

The resturant is very spacious so their is not much of a wait to be seated. The food was very good, especially the hot carmel apple dish I had for dessert. This is definitly one of the mexican food resturants in the southern area of town. Prices were fair!

We have only eaten at Garcia's a few times but every time it was FABULOUS!! The decor is awesome, the food was great, the service is good, and the prices are reasonable. If you want a good sit down Mexican restaurant, this is the one to choose.

When this place is good it is GREAT, but on an off night it's not very good. The only night that we found some consistency was Friday night's when they are busy. Wait staff is usually very good. The fajitas are USUALLY pretty good. That is what we usually get. On slow nights the fajitas are OK but not great. The inside of the restaurant is real nice.

Returning, very satisfied customer.

I cannot vouch for the authenticity, be it as I am not Mexican, but my tastebuds love the food at Garcias every time.

The restaurant area is fairly big, but the floorplan is arranged in such a manner that it provides a cozy atmosphere with multi-levelled dining areas, dark wood furntiture and decorations with colorful Mexican blankets and pottery.

Everything except the margarita was fine about this place. Very nice, warm decoration. Good service. However, the worst margarita ever! If they pay more attention to the bar, it'll be very good place for the visitors/guests from surrounding hotels.
