In Desperate Need of a Car I fell for Kids Auto Restart Program, I figured I could Pay for an Extremely Overpriced Car for 2 Years and I was Guaranteed a new Car at One Of DEALING DOUGS NEW LOTS. They Sold me a 700.00 extended Warranty which is Basically Worthless. The Car Immediately Needed Work when I got Home, although I was LIED to and Told the Car Had been serviced and ready to go. Part of it was warranty work but Living Out Of Town I would Have to bring it back to Denver to get it fixed and have nowhere to go while it was being fixed, Or have it towed to Denver for about 250.00. Right!!! It is One thing after another. One week was a 500.00 repair. Another week was a 400.00 repair and Now it is Making the Most Horrible Noise Underneath when Driving. I was in Traffic and Afraid I would not make it home with a 2 Year old in this Heat, I am afraid what the Verdict will be when I manage to get it Checked tomorrow.. But Boy They still want thier Payment..THEY WANT PEOPLE TO FAIL!!!!! Places like That should Be Illegal. I am a Reasonably Intelligent Person who had some Bad luck with a Bank Failure which ruined My Credit and Life. I need a Dependable Car!!!! And I am Paying Out the Wahzoo for a Total piece of Junk. TOM MARTINO WHERE ARE YOU!!! These People ARE CRIMINALS!!!!!!

My sons went into Kids Auto looked around the lot. My sons said that Ralph showed them one car. This car was old lots of miles, cracked windshield and needed to be cleaned (inside). Don't you think that a car should be detailed and have a stinking windshield repaired before it is put out on the lot. Ralph the sales person had gotten my hopes up very high. He said he had automatics and ones that could go through the mountains. Yeah well that was all a lie. My experience with this dealership was HORRIBLE. No one go to this dealership. You will be lied to.

c'mon people, you leave the door to the cage open and then complain about a tiger in the room. kid's auto is neither good nor bad, it's you with the bad credit that's bad! Do you know where his cars come from? they're trade ins that he gets from the reputable dealers who know they can't or won't sell them because of the condition or their own reputation as a car dealer... so ol' "Kid" goes down and buys blocks of these cars that he then marks up outlandishly so that he knows he can make a profit on them. and why are they marked up so high? again, because of you with the bad credit. Kid knows you've got bad credit, the amount he asks for as a downpayment is actually the cost he has in the car, so you've actually paid for the car in full and anything else he can get from you is cream (and his overhead and profit) and the fact that you have bad credit to begin with tells him that you will probably default on this payment as well and therefore it's the higher risk... i'm not defending these high priced dealers, i'm defending my reputation as a consumer. i guard my credit and reputation jealously, and therefore i don't get ripped off from these dealers, and on the otherhand those who flipantly reach for too many credit cards and credit applications and can't possibly afford the life style that you live (too many children, too many wives, too many husbands, too many divorces, cohabitations, walk aways, and those who can't stay on the right side of the law...) are forced to live pay check to welfare pay check and wonder why you can't live like the other half? we do work hard to be on this side of the tracks, and you should too! and finally, what do you think an 8 year old car should look like? why did i trade it in? do you think that kid's auto refurbished it? i traded it in because the check engine lite came on, because the brakes, tires and engine are worn out.... kid's just washed it and put it on the line, just for you! (by the way, Kid lives in my neighborhood because of people like you!)

I went to the dealership on Alameda and I came as close as I'll ever want to come again to getting screwed by strangers. Questions are the most important advice I can give to other potential customers. Ask alot of questions, don't sign until you see the blue book value that you look up for yourself. This sounds like an amazing deal but it is superficial. I actually heard another dealer tell a man when he ask that the $199 down was just to reel you in. After being told this the man got up and walked away without a word. I wish we had.We were here for almost 5 hours. It took 2 hours for them to inform us that our true down payment was $1500 and that we only had 6 weeks to come up with it. It doesn't seem like much but in December I'm due to give birth and have already been put on medical leave for the next 2 months. We are relying solely on my fiancee's paychecks for income. So on top of rent and household bills plus car insurance plus last minute baby things, they want that we should give them another $1200. We sat down and tried to figure out a way to do this after the guy kept pushing and showing us how we could pay it off, even though he had all the paperwork showing the money that we would have in that 6 weeks. He could clearly see that we would be unable to pay our other bills or just them. We desperatly tried to find a way and once we thought we had it covered, we sat down to wait for him to handle another customer. At this point we were in the late half of a 3rd hour, he asked us to try to call our insurance to get our coverage changed or else we'd be paying another $25 for one night of insurance. So I made the call, had it switched and was still on the phone with the company when he came up and surprised me with another requirement. He asked if I'd had full coverage or a minimum $500 put on the deductible. At this point I really wanted to ask if he had any other surprises for me that he wanted to pop out. So once more I did as he ask and added that when my insurance soared to $985 for six months I'd had enough. I told my car insurance to change it all back because I wasn't getting this car. He continued to pressure us with new insurance companies and shop around for a new quote and here's some people I know and love. Blah Blah Blah HORSESH*T!!!!!!!!!!! And something else useful "A little above blue book" is very untrue. I don't consider $4000 above to be a little especially when the same model of car on Kelley Blue Book had more miles, a windshield without a crack nearly seperating it in 2, and a perfect paint job with no scratches or rust. And that car COST LESS?! I don't get it but as the saying goes "Buyer Beware". The little man with no credit has no future. I decline to give this any stars. And stress again ask of every place that you go to in an attempt to straighten out your situation what extra cost you will incur. How much above blue book is this? Do you require special details added to my insurance? Everything that comes to mind don't be afraid to ask. And don't do what we almost did. We came close to hurting ourselves for a couple of months. And also just because people seem nice, like they're really trying to help, keep your guard up. I hate to say it but this times are about taking care of ourselves and burning those who get in the way.
And Robert why 3 reviews you broken record?

I went into this establishment wanting help to finance a reliable car. This place is a rip off to consumers. All their cars are more than 8 years old or older. When the salesman was showing me cars he was showing me cars that had ripped seats in the back and trash in the cars. They tell you that your approved to pick cars of their lots but they require you to put down a downpayment of SUV that require 2000 down if its 4 wheel drive. I purchased a car from there and the minute I got the car home my check engine light was on and my brakes were scrapping. I immediately called and left messages, my husband and myself and the manager never returned the calls. I wanted out of the contract but because I signed a paper they said they would keep my downpayment and I could opt out. I was very frustrated and sad. The manager mentioned to us when we came up there that he knew the service engine light was on and the brakes were going bad but they still put the car on the floor to sell. I told them that they shouldnt have done that. They are also selling cars on this lot as triple the price the car is worth along with financing at 21 percent. This was very very disappointing to me as a consumer who felt that this company is running a scam. I dont recommend anyone to go to this establishment they are a bunch of rip offs. They offered the fix the vehicle but the reality of it is that once you feel dupped you dont want to even deal with them on that level. The Manager of the store was rude along with his assistant manager they walked away from me when I venting my frustration with them. I asked the manager to make me leave happy work with me and he said to me it seems nothing will make you happy. I said I dont like to be sold a product that doesnt work. Dont deal with this company, run the other way if you can.
