Amandas Bridal & Tux

I just have to agree with all the great ratings except I went back like 6 times and OMG was I a bridezilla LOL and every time they were in the dressing room (huge my Mom came in too) and helped me in and out of my various dresses (I feel like I tried them all on). Amanda's is best during the week based on my trips in...never a wait even w/o an appointment. Being a bit bigger I was happy that they had large sizes in stock to try on. The dress I bought, the sample was a 12 which was bit small on me but I could tell (finally ) that it was the one !!! They ordered me a brand new dress in platnum/silver from Maggie. Yikes. The price was really fair and I loved their friendly service...they even remembered my name, then I was in a lot, LOL but they never rushed me ( my Mom sure did)

My experience was absolutely wonderful. My consultant was nothing but helpful to me, with a smile every time, her assistance was greatly appreciated. The fact there were no appointments made it easier and more flexible. Everytime I was in the store while shopping for my wedding it was very busy. Everyone was getting helped and looked satisfied. It is a wonderful family owned bridal store and the the service is very good and not like corporate stores when they want you in and out as quickly as possible. Amanda's takes time for your needs and certainly helps you find the right dress for you.
Although we had to wait for a dressing room once or twice they were worth it because of how large they were. Their bride dressing rooms are enormous, bigger than any other bridal store I've been in!! Mirrors on every wall so I couldn't miss anything! There were beautiful dresses and a large variety for my gown and for my bridesmaids.
They aren't cheap dresses in fact their gowns are made by wondeful designers, opposed to David's Bridal who doesn't carry any specific designers but make their own "copycat" styles. Plus the selection of tuxes! I have had more than one person say great things about Amanda's,I am shocked at any negative things said about Amanda's..

This place has a lot of gowns by Maggie Sottero, Mori Lee and a few others. The prices are very good. I kept trying on gowns which I thought were going to be very pricey only to find a price tag of $499!
I didn't like the way the store is set up. They don't take appointments so you have to go in and sign in and then wait for someone to be assigned to help you. But they don't really help you, they just put the dress on you. You have to sort through all the gowns in the store and pick which ones you want to try. I have been to a lot of other shops which the assistances helped you sort through the gowns. I find this helpful because they know which gowns are in your price range. But at Amanda's I would find a dress and then have to find the price tag. On the other had they are very patient with you. They will let you try on all the gowns you want until you find the perfect one.
I did like the dressing rooms here. They are very big with lots of mirrors inside each one. Some of the places I went didnt have nearly enough room to be trying to get into a dress, much less a mirror inside.
Overall, I would say if you have a budget for your gown, this is a place you should check out. Its a little rough on the exterior, but they do have a lot of beautiful gowns.

The boutique is a little small, and there is only one place for you to really stand in front of a lot of mirrors to get a good idea of what you look like in your dress, but there are a ton of changing rooms and the ladies that work there are so understanding and patient to help you find the right one. I didn't like their bridesmaids dresses but I found the perfect wedding dress there.

This is a very nice bridal shop. They do not provide the discounts that the larger chain stores do. They do have some styles that are fairly unique as opposed to the larger stores that have the same dresses at every store. They also have a large selection of closeout styles that are lower priced. You dont have to have an appointment, which is rare in the bridal salon business. Another problem I had here is that because they arent a chain, if they dont have the right size for you it is difficult for them to get it. I would say that if you wear an average size then check this place out. However, if you wear a very small size or larger size you may have trouble finding a great dress for a good price here.
