The only reason they got 2 stars instead of one was because they are the only place around here that sells Pandora. The customer service at this place is terrible. I was in the shop for 5 minutes before someone decided to put their coffee down and help me (shop was not busy at the time). In the middle of my discussion with a saleswoman another customer came in. She said she would get someone else to help me because the person that arrived was "her customer". Not quite sure what I was then. The store did not have what I wanted so she took my name to call me when they got it in. I called once a week over the next 6 weeks to find out if it was in. Each time I spoke with a man who was very rude and had no customer service skills at all. The last time I called he said they did have it in. I asked when they got it. He said 4 days ago. I wondered why I wasnt called like I was promised and he said "I dont know what to tell you". If I talked to my customers like that I would not be working for much longer. After writing this I changed my mind. I'm mad and Im going to give one star.

This jewlery store has been open for years and years. They carry a wonderful selection of clocks, from crystal, to mantel and even grandfather clocks. THis of course is in addition to all the fine jewlery they carry. They have a gemologist on duty to answer all of you questions.

The History of Page-Parsons Jewelers

With over 100 years of business success, what's the secret? Integrity, Knowledge, and Value! This cornerstone motto of Page-Parsons Jewelers is a big part of that success ever since the business opened in 1895 as "Roberts The Jeweler."

In 1903, Sherman W. Moody continued the philosophy when he purchased the business. Mr. Moody was then joined by Frank M. "Shotgun" Smith and Frank R. Crocker, during which the enterprise was known as the F.M. Smith Jewelry Company. In 1913 the three sold the business to A.C. Parsons. In 1937 his partner, Mr. Cheedle, sold his share of the company to A.C.'s son, George.

Mancel Page bought the entire business from George in 1964 and by 1969 had moved it to its present location at 444 Main Street, the original location of Valley Federal Savings and Loan.

These principles of integrity, knowledge, and value continue today as Page-Parsons Jewelers, under the ownership of Peggy Page, Mancelβ??s daughter. The traditions of providing the highest quality jewelry and service to the people of the Grand Valley remain thier greatest priorities.

Page-Parsons is a full service jeweler offering on-site jewelry, watch, and clock repair with a large inventory of loose diamonds and colored stones as well as other fine jewelry, pearls, clocks, and watches. It has the distinction of having been granted membership in the prestigious American Gem Society and IJO, an exclusive Independent Jewelers Organization. As one of the largest buying groups in existence, IJO makes it possible to purchase diamonds direct from Antwerp, Belgium at a substantial savings.

Both Mancel & Peggy are certified gemologists and along with their knowledgeable staff, invite you to stop by their store and discover what so many others already know:

Page-Parsons Jewelers is their one and only Fine Jeweler.
