I recently adopted a cat and was pleased with the new patient experience I had at 7 Hills Veterinary Hospital. The doctor was kind and helpful and put my concerns at ease about the new kitty. They gave me helpful information in a packet

We've been going here for a few years now. They are STUPID EXPENSIVE. At lease double other vets. Kitten nail clipping $18, Chip $70.... Ive found places with great reviews, that are closer to me that clip for $6 and chip for $30.... 7

Go somewhere else. My dog was having seizures - he had never had a seizure before. Although he was 10 years old, he was in excellent health like a 6 year old. The doctor was not confident in her abilities, she did not speak confidently

We had to rush our 10 month old puppy to Seven Hills on 1/12/11. We went there only because they were closer than our regular vet. We used to go to this vet clinic for our dogs, but found them to be extremely over-priced. We now go to Pets Vet of Arvada, which provides top notch care for nearly half the cost. Seven Hills?? emergency vets ?? Avac - took the time to provide us with an estimate of the cost to care for our puppy. She had to stay overnight on IVs, and we were told that she would be ??turned over to Seven Hills in the morning to continue the monitoring and care.? Of course, at the time, we did not understand that they were two separate providers, and that we would be getting additional charges from Seven Hills. Dr. Ley, the Seven Hills vet called the next morning and asked permission to run another blood test (which he promised he would not charge us for because he was ??not happy with the blood tests? run the night before). We agreed. When we picked up our puppy, we were hit with a bill of almost $260 on top of the $900+ bill from Avac! Of course, no one can explain why it is so high or why. No one bothered to explain the charges to us or get permission to incur that cost before doing whatever it was they did. Part of the charges include an additional blood test, which we did not authorize. They charged us over $100 just to have her in the clinic for day for monitoring. Avac??s overnight charge for monitoring was $25. Not to mention the fact that it was our regular doctor, Dr. Hennessey, at Pets Vet of Arvada, who actually diagnosed the problem OVER THE PHONE, because the Avac doctor didn??t bother to ask a very important question that led to the diagnosis. We will NEVER take any of our animals to this place again. They are extremely overpriced and lack the attention to detail and customer care that it takes to be a place that I wish to support. If you want wonderful care for your pets, AVOID THIS PLACE . . . go the extra distance and see the vets at Pets Vet of Arvada. It is definitely worth the trip!
So - I left a message for Cindy (the facility manager), and was promised a return call, which I never got. Finally, a week later, Dr. Ley called and said he would refund $100 for the extreme cost of her visit during the day. That was definitely helpful! I like Dr. Ley. He is very personable, and at least seems to care about our puppy. I still won't take my pets to this clinic though. The staff is friendly, but I'm not too thrilled with the care the other doctors (other than Dr. Ley) have given in the past, and they are simply too overpriced!

A few years ago my golden retriever, Anna, seemed to pass out. She was too large for me to carry to the car, so I called 7-Hills Vet and told them the situation. My house is 5 minutes from the vet so Dr. Ley and two of his medics jumped in his truck and drove to my house. It was so comical because their truck came screeching around the corner and they jumped out and were all running down the sidewalk with this little stretcher. Before they got to the house I discovered Anna had a toy lodged between her teeth and as soon as I popped it out she was fine! I asked Dr. Ley how much I owed him for a home visit and he said "Nothing. Just tell people about us." To this day I still laugh about this incident. I have taken all my animals to this clinic for the past 16 years. They've gotten very pricy over the years but they are worth it!

We used to take our animals to tender-care but when they wouldn't see my dog for free after their groomer nicked his skin I luckily found this place. It looks like a small facility from the outside, but the inside is very nice and appealing. All the staff and doctors we have come into contact with take the time to listen to your pet's problem, take the extra care needed and you even get to pay in the exam room, so no worries your dog will try to pry you from the counter when paying. We have 2 cats and 1 dog and they have all been cared for perfectly. The appointment times and short notice sick times are always available. The receptionists are very professional and sweet. I can't believe I hadn't found them sooner, considering they are less than 5 min from my house. This is how a veterinary clinic should be. Awesome staff, awesome interior designing (televisions to watch, water feature, rooms are comfortable and the place never has the hospital smell). Absolutely love this place.

We took 3 dogs in to Seven Hills with mixed results. The first thing I found was that the vet that checked out our Chesapeake Bay Retrievers didn't seem to know much about the breed. She seemed most interested in pushing her choice for a brand/type of dog food even though I tried to explain to her that the food we used was one of the most popular brands on the Field Trial circuit. She seemed OK with our older dog. She gave us a referral to a different vet for an eye problem which turned out to be a tumor in her brain. Overall, I think they are probably not a bad clinic but I was turned off by the condescending tone our vet had when I tried to explain why we used the "performance" type of dog food over her recommended "large breed" formula. She also gave me a lecture about not bringing my dogs in enough since they were so old and hadn't been there before. I tried to explain that we had just moved from Oregon to Colorado and that is why we were new patients. She didn't seem to understand. For a place to get normal vet advice and for shots this place would probably be fine. If you are looking for someone with more intricate knowledge of a certain breed or at least the modesty to admit that they don't know, this may not be the place for you.

The seven hills veterinary clinic has been very good to our animals. That are very caring and gentle with them even when they are not on their best behavior. There is also a 24 hour clinic that is attached that helps greatly when your animals is sick and it is late. I have found that both the regular veterinary and the 24 hour veterinary to be very reasonably priced and this has aloud exhalent continued care for my animals.

this vet clinic is very good, they are super nice and friendly, and care about the pets, but they are terribly slow, your appointment times are always late and you wait at least 15-30 minutes each time. It is close to my house and for routine appointments, I will accept the extra 15 minutes. I hope they see this review, and get on the ball and work on their times!!

PROS: good with pets
CONS: cant make appointment times
