Incredibly rude. Staff seems too busy doing nothing to be helpful. Just go to Goodwill or any other thrift shop.

I also am not impressed with them In the beginning of motherhood, 4 years ago, I thought they were great. Now, not so much. I've had them not buy things from me saying stains, poor condition, when they're not. Then, when I look on the racks, there's clothing with stains, holes, and Target, Wal-Mart, and KMart brands that are marked the same or higher than if you bought them new at the original store. Yes, the same brands they claim they don't buy. Some of the employees are friendly, but I've been ignored when I've obviously been trying to get help, and most the time I feel like I'm imposing on them to ring me up. I always hear them talking about their own kids and I'm starting to think they "buy" clothes from each other (the employees) - the clothes that they claim they do not buy. I also am suspicious that the clothes that are not picked up that are supposedly "donated" are actually put on the rack. How else do the things "they don't buy" end up on the sales floor?

I used to love shopping at once upon a child but over the past year I have had a change of heart. I brought in two huge bags of clothes and toys. Some of the clothes were BRAND NEW and some were gently used. They only bought 1 sweatshirt, 1 pair of shoes and 2 toys. They said that they don't except anything with stains or anything that looks used. None of the clothes that I tried to sell had stains on them and as I mentioned some of them had never been worn. I was outraged when I left the store. I have been there multiple times and have seen clothes that are in much worse condition hanging on their racks. I also bought a pair of cowboy boots that I realized later that day were falling apart. I have decided that I will not buy from once upon a child again. I would not encourage anyone to sell there used clothes, toys etc to this store. I also bought a New changing table from them that was missing two of the knobs from one of the drawers. I have given them my information 3 times and still have not received the replacement knobs. That was over 6 months ago. When I went in the last time no one knew what I was talking about and I had to give them my information one more time. Im not the type of person to complain but I was not impressed with my selling or buying experience at Once Upon a Child.

I was really not impressed. I found that they put together their own sets and are often different sizes put together. I also found several items that were stained or torn. They will only buy your clothes if they are from upscale shops like Gymboree, GAP, The Children's Place. I actually overheard one of their employees telling a lady that they didn't buy her clothes that she had brought in because they were cheap, from Target, Wal-Mart, Ross, etc. What a complete disappointment this store was.

Once Upon a Child carries new and used clothing for infants, children and maternity. They also carry and rent breastfeeding supplies and toys. This is a great money saving place to find gently used items with a lot of life left in them.
