The 13th Street Bake Shop has a lot of good desserts for any occasion. The atmosphere is nice and the service has always been nice to me every time I've been there.

Dirty, dirty, dirty- not the best place to eat would NEVER eat there again. Walmart is cleaner, plus bad service. They will not take a credit card unless it's over 5.oo because they are cheap. It costs money to run a successful business people. Starbucks is 100 times better abd it is right next door.

I went hoping for the best but found a very dirty little overpriced coffe house- go to Higher Ground, one block behind- good food, great drinks, and clean.

This is your type of place if you're looking for an alternative to the ubiquitous chain-on-the-corner coffee shop. Thirteenth Street Bakeshop is owned and operated by sunny and friendly Marge. The cafe au lait is as cheap as the regular coffee, and better than the latte if you ask me. Absolutely DIVINE baked goods -- cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, scones -- all good reasons to throw your diet out the window. The breakfast sandwiches are great too. They also serve lunch (sandwiches and a daily soup) but I've never been for anything but caffeine or sugar!
