Heinze Kevin Md

I was referred to doctor Heinze by a close friend after my OB of 10 years retired. I was expecting my second child and did not know how to begin looking for another doctor that was not part of a group and that I could feel comfortable seeing. Dr Heinze is very patient, honest, and straight forward and he allows every patient as much time as they need with him (even if it slows things down in the waiting room)However he is on top of things and knows his information. I also like the thought of knowing which doctor will be at the delivery and doing ultrasounds at the same time of the visit.

I LOVE Dr. Heinze. He is understanding and patient and made me feel very at ease. The doc i had with my first child was cold and uncaring and rushed thru appointments. I had no idea what was going on and it was my first baby. When i found out i was pregnant again i asked my primary doc for a referral to someone new. I thank god every day that i did. Dr. Heinze took all the time i needed to explain everything and make me feel comfortable even during labor i was laughing while i was pushing!!! He is truly amazing and i will never leave his office. As long as you make an appointment ahead of time there is never a problem getting in but i would recommend that you clear your sched for a few hours because the waiting room tends to back up a little BUT there is obviously a very good reason the man is so dang busy :)

Dr. Heinze tells it how it is. He does not make you feel uncomfortable when he talks to you about what is going on - he does not use the doctor terms that leave you walking out of the office baffled. He makes you feel relaxed during pregnancy when he reminds you not to listen to other people's horror stories and advice. I really wouldn't choose any other doctor to deliver my baby. My husband and I appreciate him, maybe because we're a younger couple, but for our next (and last), he will be our doctor yet again!!

I went to Dr. Heinze one time. During this visit he made inappropriate comments that made my husband and I both uncomfortable. While on the exam table he said "I know you were trained not to do this for strange men but just spread your legs." Not the kind of joke I want to hear while I am being examined. After a few other comments I decided that this was not the doctor for me. I found a new doctor and called several times for my records to be transfered. After four months of them not responding my husband became frustrated and made one last phone call. He was told that the doctor was too busy and they would not be sending the records. An all around disappointing and frustrating experience.

I have just been seeing Dr. Heinze due to a miscarriage for a short time and he is the best doctor I have been too. He is very straight forward and very caring.

This is coming from a male's point of view, but the baby's mother would agree with me that he is the only choice when it comes to choosing a doctor when/if you're pregnant. He was recommended to us by my sister who went to him, and the way she said it was perfect. When I told her my girlfriend was pregnant, she looked at me and said "You guys are seeing Dr. Heinze, right?", like the possibility that we'd be going to someone else was just not an option! And that sister was sent to him by my OTHER sister who's baby Dr. Heinze also delivered. I've sent 2 friends his way between then and now, and they both LOVE him. He is busy, but always has time for ANY question you may have, all you have to do is call. He also delivers 99% of his patients babies, which is impressive to say the least!

Every time I see Dr. Heinze, as I have for almost 7 years, he takes as much time as he needs. I never mind waiting, because he is a doctor who gives you choices, is kind and gentle and knowledgeable, easy to talk to, always makes you feel important and comfortable. He never condescends, and his staff is amazing, too.

PROS: He can do ultrasound in the office, and he is prompt to get back to you.

Dr Heinze Has been the best doctor I could and will ever have.I was a new young very nervous 1st time mom when I started going to Dr Heinze.He did nothing but make me feel the most comfortable with my choices and gave me great options.I will continue to be his patent till he or I die(hopefully not me 1st).Id recommend him to anyone.For the first my 1st male OBGYN hes been great.Also if you are confused, scared or a young soon to be mom....see Dr Heinze.Plus the staff will remember you.You'll always feel like one of the family.He truly is the best.

PROS: My Favorite Doctor ever
CONS: Yes he is a very very busy man,So expect a wait.

Dr. Heinze is a good Dr. He is very laid-back and casual, even will write advice for you on a paper towel! :) That said he is also VERY busy. Most of the time he looks exhausted, like he's been up all night, which he probably has, as he's running a one-man show. Making an appointment is difficult and it's just as hard to keep it. Understandably he's needed at all hours by women in labor etc., but the reality is, it's hard when you have to make arrangements to get to your appt in the first place. I felt like i wanted more medical advice and direction with regards to many pregnancy issues, including being overdue. He kept putting the ball in my court, and i didn't have a clue what to do with it, as i'm not a medical expert! He was also pushy about the epidural, which i was hesitant to even consider because of the risks. I wanted to see if i could do it without drugs, but he clearly thought that was foolish. I ended up having the epi. All in all, he is a good Dr. I would have probably used him again, because i didn't know things could be different/better, but i learned that they can!

Dr. Heinze is a great Obstetrician. His schedule can be very full, but he delivers 95% of his own patients. He always makes you feel at ease. He is a very casual doctor, no suit and tie here. He is attentive and patient, listening to every question no matter how many times he's heard it before. I would reccomend him to everyone I know.

PROS: Very patient and kind
CONS: Takes a long time to get an appointment, very full schedule
