Staff does not seem to like non-Latinos!!!

Just got back from Tacos Rapidos on Evans and on this visit I had a very bad experience! I went to the front walk-up window of the restaurant. I asked for my enchilada sauce to be put on the side, but for no good reason the staff was very rude about this small request. The man taking the orders spoke English very well so I know the problem was not language related.

I've never had a problem with getting the sauce on the side at any other restaurant. It would have only taken about an extra 30 seconds to put the sauce that usually goes on the top- on the side! I could see in the restaurant window that they had plenty of small containers with lids. I assume they were for sauce or green chilli?

I've been going to this place for years, but they've changed a lot since they've first opened. They've recently added a new location on Alameda and Yuma. They used to be nice people but now seem to have a terrible attitude!

A friend of mine told me that the staff does not like non-Latinos and now I believe it. I've also heard that if you are non-Latino the cooks will sometimes SPIT IN YOUR FOOD!!!

Fair warning! IF YOU ARE NON-LATINO DON'T GO HERE! IF YOU ARE LATINO, BUT DON'T LIKE RUDE PREJUDICED PEOPLE, THEN PLEASE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!!

Pretty damn good mexican food, all fresh, and really hot! Most places here in town have become pretty mild, nice to finally have somewhere to go, close to work, where can get some authentic hot sauce. Only problem is dont try to customize your order too much - most of the employees only know how to make the food one way but do not fully understand english. Other than that - bomb food.

I love this place! Their breakfast burritos are the best! A bit greasy at times, but if you have one for breakfast, you won't have to eat again the rest of the day, they are really that big and filling. I haven't tried anything else on the menu, but it all looks good

Pros: Good, cheap burritos

Cons: It's a walk up place so if it's cold or snowing, you're gonna freeze your a$$ off!

My boyfriend introduced me to this fantastic little walk up restaurant a few years ago when we were coming home from a concert. Seriously tacos at 2:00 am are hard to beat. My favorite is the Carnitas - delicious bits of pork, diced avocado and red onion rolled up in a FRESH corn tortilla. The beef taco is also delicious and flavorful, a little greasy but sometimes that's just what tastes good. The beans are fantastic and the bean burrito can't be beat - delicious creamy beans wrapped in a paper thin, homemade flour tortilla. These may be the ONLY flour tortillas I like in the entire world!! Beware the green chili!! It is authentic Mexican green chili not the New Mexican variety we have all come to know and love! Theirs is ground up fresh green chilies- no pork, no tomato AND VERY HOT. I like it as a garnish but I do not recommend smothering your burrito in it! I have to be honest, I love the tacos and bean burrito so much I haven't tried any of their other offerings! They accept credit cards and their staff is alawys very friendly and courteous. The portions are generous and di I mention they are open REALLY late!!!
