Heritage College is a joke!!!!!!!!!!!
by deidra g.
I can't say anything about the heritage college in Denver, but if it is anything thing like the other branches of the college then i don't recomend it to anyone. I went to school @ the heritage college in wichita, ks. I was about 4 months into my schooling when i had some family problems that forced me to take a leave of absence. The person in charge of my leave didn't let anyone know and instead of getting the time off i needed, i got dropped from my classes. Now they still expect me to pay for them. It was in no way my fault that i got dropped, i was told everything would be taken care of and i could take the time off to get my home life situated. I was given a date to start attending my classes again, but it was only about a week before i got a call saying i was dropped from my classes. i tried to explain that i was supposed to have a leave but was told nothing could be done about it. Now i am in debt to them for and education i didn't even get the chance to fully receive! i would have no problem paying the school if i would have received all the schooling. The school offered to accept me back into the classes BUT i would have to pay them for the classes i was dropped from and the new classes that i would be taking.

Admissions Counselor -- Used Car Salesman
by Jamie L.
I went in this afternoon to get additional information about their X-Ray Technician program. Everything sounded great...small class size, involved instructors, nice campus, etc...UNTIL I wouldn't make the commitment that day. Once I let it be known that I needed some time to take all the information in...I was treated very rudely. Seriously...who decides in a couple hours to chunk down $18K...all I asked for was an evening to digest the information and talk it over with my husband. I had to walk out when the Admissions Counselor (Erin) told me I had been lying to her about my readiness to get back into school. As much as I like the program...because of my horrible experience with her -- Heritage will not be my choice.

I like it.. a lot!

Well, I live on the East side of town, and had some business on the West side that required me to be "on-call" for many hours at a time. While I was waiting around I called and booked a microderm for the very next morning. I have never gotten my spa services set up for the next day! I don't remember the name of my aesthetician, but she was just perfect. The service and value are exceptional. It isn't your typical spa-like experience, because it is inside the college, but the smoothness and texture of my skin improved 100% after my first visit. I scheduled my second visit the next week (even though I didn't have business out there) and drove 30 minutes to get to my appointment. I arrived a little early and signed in. the front desk gentleman was as nice as he could be when he told me he didn't have me on the list. I had entered my appointment incorrectly on my PDA!!! I was supposed to have been there the day before. It was no problem. One of the clinicians took me back and did my 4-layer facelift (facial) without making me feel like a bother. I love this place. I miss the atmospere at high end salons, but I get more service for my dollar (and nicer people) at Heritage.
Pros: accomodating and caring staff, the excellent microderm
Cons: hard to park close

Student Massage Clinic - Great Deal!
by Mayapie
I got a massage last week from a Heritage College student at the Heritage College massage clinic. Wow! I can't believe what a great value this is. I normally get my massages at the Aveda spa and I usually end up spending about $100. At Heritage, the cost was only $25. I can't afford to get too many $100 massages, so this is a great addition to my quality-of-life because I will be able to do it more often. The place is no spa, but it is nice. And the quality of the massage was top-notch. I highly recommend it.
Pros: Professional Massage for $25
Cons: Not a spa environment
