The OSF Classics menu offers spaghetti with a choice of mushroom sauce, rich meat sauce, browned butter and feta-like mizithra cheese sauce, and more. Other popular favorites are the baked lasagna--layers of noodles, tomato sauce and four kinds of cheese--and the fettuccine Alfredo. Meals include a green salad, fresh-baked bread and ice cream.

Browned Butter and Mazithra Cheese!!

by Alleyoop620

When I was married and Lived in Littleton, we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory OFTEN!! We always had at least part of our order as "Browned Butter and Mazithra cheese. I learned to LOVE it. My wife and I would use ANY excuse to go there for that Spaghetti. Now that I lived in Tennessee, I REALLY miss that place. Guess I'll try the one in Nashville again someday.

Pros: Unique atmosphere,

Cons: Had to wait for a table sometimes

LOVE IT ! ! !

by ajkaneobrien

I love the Mizithra & Brown Butter Spaghetti! I think this restaurant is a really nice place. It's reasonably priced and (thank god!) is different from all the typical restaurants downtown. Also, the staff are always friendly to us and the manager has thanked us personally for dining. The interior is stunning as well!

Pros: Nice food and many courses of food! Great interior...

Cons: Downtown...( I live in the suburbs) :(

Horrible. Mic running in dining room.

by caseyj1231

My date and I went here last night, and got through the salad portion, then happened to glance to the right and noticed mic running all over. The manager was like, "well we'd like you to come back, we're sorry".. I'm never going back here!

Pros: None?

Cons: Bad service, 4-legged creatures running all over.

Great Value & Date spot!

by denverjane

Just had dinner there last week and I always tell myself to go back sometime. I feel cool knowing a reasonablly priced (almost cheap) meal downtown that make you feel like you have been to a destination. Food is not the best but good. Cool date spot....

Taste like spaghetti from a factory...

by mnt2b

Spagetti factory taste just like it's name....spaghetti from a factory. It was very bland and dissapointing. It does have a very cool interior design. I ate there once and would not go back.

Pros: Food is lame

Cons: Ambience is cool

What a Value!!!

by chonza

What a value for the money. Great atmosphere, good service, and the food is good. Where else can you either take the kids or have a cheap lunch/dinner date. Their creamy pesto (ranch dressing) is the best!

Pros: Price and Atmosphere

Wonderful downtown casual dining

by kristag

We dined at The Old Spaghetti Factory for my last birthday, and I was thrilled with the interior decor. (Being a person who frequently gages architecture and decor, this was an immediate plus.) The restaurant is, as you could tell by the name, set in an old train station, and the floor plan is layed out with the large room divided not by whole walls but barriers to indicate small areas. This creates a very open but warm ambiance, which I loved.

The meals are, as I'm sure others have said, a great price for the amount of food. Service and atmosphere doesn't indicate casual dining however, which was nice. Overall, a great downtown place to dine.

Pros: Decor, Value, Service

Cons: Downtown Parking

Great Food but Not great service

by jen23472

I absolutley love going to the Old factory, but be prepared to wait awhile for your meal. And I would recommend parking yourself, you might have to walk a bit, but its downtown.... Again the food and the setting is a great place, especially if you have kids.

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: Parking, service

yuck

by elissanye

I would not recommend this place to people who know anything about quality food. The food was terrible. Even the cheap glasses and silverware bugged me. I felt like I was eating in a cafeteria decorated like an old victorian house. The only thing I did like about this was the old building and the feel of being in a victorian house. I would not like to sit in the street car ever again though, very uncomfortable. All in all I would not return to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone.

Don't bother...

by kgb1966

The food is okay but the service sucks!! I've gone there quite a few times in the last 20 years because they are the only reasonably priced Italian restaurant downtown that I know of but I don't recommend them because of the poor service. They have plenty of seating but not enough wait staff so you are left waiting unnecessarily with empty tables everywhere.

I can't say enough about this great restaurant. Good food, great service, nice ambience;everything you need for a night out, or for a friendly visit for out of towners as we are. We were made to feel right at home by the staff and this was very important to us. In fact the highlight of the evening! we love this place!! When we come to town again we will be back and bring all of our family. We are recommending it to all we know, in town and out.

Pros: ambience, service, cleanliness

Not worth it, if you like food

by tasterofwine

The value is good if you don't have the money to spend. The food is horrible, when Mizithra cheese is the signature dish (butter, ricotta and romano cheese), you know the quality is bad. Great place to take someone if you don't know much about food (kids).

Pros: affordable, efficient

Cons: no quality, bad parking

Italian Shmitalian!

by gnheieck

This restaurant is from the 80's. Back then the only appealing thing about it was the atmosphere, never the food. Now we are all over the corny train and 'factory' type settings, and our palets are telling us NO! This is not Italian, it's paste. Have you heard of Amici's? I've been going there for as long as I can remember, it's owned by REAL Italians, and the price is pretty darn reasonable. It's all in the gravy (what we Italians call spaghetti sauce), and Spaghetti factory ain't got it!

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: Bad food, Cheesy Ambience, Not real Italian

Slow service and mediocre food. There are definitely better family Italian resturants where you don't pay to park.

Cheap for a Reason

by jltschmidt

This may be on the list for great cheap eats but sometimes things are heap for a reason. At Spaghetti Factory they save a lot of money on the quality of their meat and the complete lack of seasonings. This is bland sub par quality fare. Perfect for the old and toddlers. I would expect better spaghetti from the Furr's Cafeteria line. The atmosphere is meant to be fun but is gettng a little dated.

Pros: cheap, cute seating

Cons: bland, poor quality, luke warm

Great food doesn't have to be expensive

by diguardi

I'd walk there 10 miles in the snow without shoes for the Spaghetti with Mizithra Cheese! The Spaghetti with White Clam sauce is the best I've ever had. The unique atmosphere makes it a fun place, and a good place to bring children.

A Classic!

by LilAngelEyes247

Casual elegance at it's best. It's the living room of your rich grandmother with the finest antique furnishings, expanded to hold all of Italy... and a Streetcar whose name you'll think is Desire because you will desire to come here again and again!

Excellent cuisine! You will be SHOCKED at how inexpensive it is!!! And it's close to everything fun downtown :)

Oh, and MmMmMm! Can't beat Mizithra!

Pros: Timeless Classic, Exquisite Decor, Unbeatable food and $
