Bought a small fountain a few yrs ago and had to replace it as the 'bowl' chipped and crumbled revealing a material that resembles something a child would make in arts and crafts class. Winterized the fountain by draining it and putting it in the garage, even though initially the owner did not give these instructions. Took it back and the owner, Carlo, and his wife, Rhonda, gave me a hard time and I had to insist on them replacing this piece of ..... They gave me another fountain resembling the first one. Carlo said they didn't make this particular fountain, but had brought it in from another company.

Two summers later, same problem as w/the first one. Stopped by, but there were padlocks on the property. This was after hearing that they were closing out their business. This past week stopped by w/my neighbor's 5 yr old daughter, and initially talked w/Rhonda, who proceeded to give me a hard time as before when replacing the first fountain. Deja' vu...With other potential customers observing, Carlo came up to me and started in on me after I said I'd had the same problem as before. He again used the same sorry excuse that the fountain was from another distributor. I said you should stand behind your products no matter where you get them and that I was disappointed that this was happening again. He must have been having a bad day or life, as he started yelling at me for having the nerve to complain about the fountain. I said I was going to bring this 'piece of ....' back and he demanded that I do so that day. The other customers looked at him like he was nuts. Two people left soon after. Can't say that I blame them after witnessing a nut job like that losing it on a customer.

I went home, brought back a neighbor and friend to help me w/the fountain, and it was like observing Jekyl and Hyde. He was very abrupt and rude, and said he'd exchange it out for a new bowl. Looks just like the old one...too bad he won't be in business to replace this one in two years. What a piece of crap!

Am glad he's going out of business. Apparently he doesn't know what good customer service is.

I ordered 2 pots for a total of over $300 in early June 2009. I provided a photo of what I wanted via email. When I spoke to Carlo he said he had something very similar. I asked if I could pick them up (and see them at the same time), but he assured me delivery is free and that would be easier all around.

When they were delivered, I did not accept the delivery as they were VERY different from what I wanted. I have called 4 times to request a refund . He is also deducting $50 for the delivery and actually made me cry today when i called again. I'm not a cryer, but he was pretty awful.

Pros: None

Cons: Rude and not refunding $$
