I have used Sanchez Mechanical, Inc. several times for business and home for heating and air conditioning concerns. Most recently the a/c unit in my private residence went out. I called SMI and my call was answered promplty. He showed up the same afternoon to assess the problem. The next morning, also a Saturday, Sid showed up bright and early installing a new unit. Sid has been honest and professional with all my hvac problems and I recommend this hard working individual to all.

My AC wasn't working so I called Sid who said he was coming that afternoon. He wasn't able to make it but called me and promised to come at 7 a.m. the next morning and he kept his promise. He showed up on time and worked very efficiently fixing my AC in half an hour.

Sanchez Mechanical owner (Sid) purchased and installed an Amana Air Condition (A/C) condenser for me at my home on July 26, 2011. The condenser model number is ASX140481C and its SEER cooling rating is 14.00. With this cooling rating, I am able to get a $500 rebate from Xcell Energy cooling program. According to Xcell Energy policy, only the registered contractors have rebate applications. Before the installation, Sid told me that he was a registered contractor for the Xcell Energy Central Air Condition program and would give me the rebate form. Since he installed my A/C condenser, I have asked him to give me this rebate form again and again; he gave me wrong form three times. First time, his employee sent me a high efficiency cooling rebate form for business on 7/26/2011 by email. Second time, his employee sent me a wrong form called "2011 Evaporative Cooling" on 8/2/2011 by email. Third time, he called me and said he had a right form for me and would mail it to me. I thought it would be better to get it in person to check if it is the right form. On 8/17/2011, my husband and I went to his office to get the form. He gave me the wrong form again. To help him get the right rebate form, I called Xcell Energy and got the information about the right form (the right form should be "2011 High Efficiency Cooling for Residential Colorado"). I forwarded the information to him twice. Since then, I called him 5 times, so far, I have not got the right form after he installed my A/C condenser, and it??s been 38 days. Each time, he promised to give me the form at the specific time, he never showed up and never called. For example, on August 31, he told me to come to my house to give me the form by 9:00 AM; he never showed up and never called me the whole day. This has not happened once but many times, which wasted a lot of my time. Today (9/3/2011), I called him again. I asked him if he can give me the form and told him that I would file a complaint to BBB if he cannot give me the form today. He said: ??You file a complaint, stop calling me! I told you I will give you the form eventually. You don't believe me". Then, he hanged up the phone. I am very angry on his attitude and file a complaint to BBB. I have been working with him on this issue for more than a month, and I am really tired of chasing him for the form. I don't understand why it is so difficult for him to get a right rebate form unless he is not a registered contractor. So I asked him again if he is a registered contractor and asked him to send me a copy of his NATE certification for registering the Excel Energy Central Air Condition program. He conformed he was a registered contractor and had the NATE certification but never gave a copy of his certification to anybody. Sid, since you are a registered contractor for this program, why can't ypu provide me the right form after you installed my A/C condenser 38 days?

What I needed in a contractor was a person that would keep to his commitment on delivery (emergency), price and quality. Sanchez Mechanical delivered on all categories. When we encountered a problem with the factory delivered orifices being incorrect for my mountain altitude, Sanchez Mechanical stuck with the installation and replaced the faulty parts with the correct ones at no additional charge despite two additional trips being required. He was here when he committed to being here and did not leave until the job was correct. SMI is a rare find in today's world.

Sanchez Mecchanical was the best company I contacted while making the decision to buy a furnace for my daughter-in-law in Aurora. Living in Washington State, interviewing over the phone, I had to find a reputable dealer with fair price to quickly install a furnace in her unheated house. After reading the highly negative comment above (and four others at other web sites), I initiatally told Sid that I felt I could not go with him. He had not seen those remarks and was very disturbed, stating they were blatantly false and written by one or two individuals in the same house that he had two encounters with. He agreed with my feelings but proceeded to convince me of his sincerity and integrity.

Based on his explanation, I hired Sidney. He had the ducts cleaned and furnace installed the next morning , not waiting for payment from me. My daughter-in-law tells me the furnace is warming their lhouse as never befroe and my grandson's headaches are gone. Great guy, great job--what else needs to be said...

I recently had my AC and Furnace replaced and ducts cleaned by Sid at Sanchez Mech. I went with him because he was, by far, the lowest out of the several bids I received. (I wonder why, Ann B, you would go with a contractor with the highest bid??) I have terrible allergies and after everything was replaced and cleaned, I have had none! Its amazing. Sid was polite, prompt and professional. I recommend him to everyone that needs HVAC services. A++. Thanks Sanchez Mechanical, not just for a job well done, but for helping me with my allergies :) :)

I am the owner of Sanchez Mechanical and have been in business for 20yrs. I am licensed in the state of Colorado and I am not required to carry a license for every county, unless I have a job, at which time I pull a permit. I have had an issue with the individual who wrote the comment below and I've tried numerous times to amend the situation. In short, I was supposed to install a brand new furnace for this individual and days after the contract was signed, the materials were ordered and installation was scheduled, the customer didn't follow through with the agreement, and was in breach of contract. My attorney informed me that legally the customer was at fault and because of the broken contract, I didn't need to refund any money. Because I understand that certain unfortunate financial situation arise, I was willing to give a partial refund, minus the cost of services rendered, materials and restocking fees. I have received several threatening calls and text, and I take these slandering allegations very seriously. This business is my life and I love doing it. To whom this may concern: I do not know this person, nor have I ever done any work for them. I am not sure where Crimson got his information but it is false. I have been in business for the last 20 years and am fully licensed and insured. I take this very very serious and personal. I have had several great reviews, and do not want this ruining my business and/or my personal life. If I do know you and I have done something unethical to you there are other ways of handling this problem. I would appreciate it if you could remove this from my business page. There are tons of other Sid Sanchez's out there and it would be great if you could get your facts straight before slandering me and my business, when I don't know you in the first place, or have never done any work for you. I want this removed or I will go to higher extremes to find out who wrote this. I am not going to allow something this unethical to ruin my reputation and my business. Clean it up quick.
