Food that is way to good for a bar this fun!
  • Great Happy Hour
  • Best burger in town!
  • Come join us to watch the game

The longtime staple in Cherry Creek North has an outstanding bar menu and the place has topped "best burger" lists all over town for years. The spicy green chili here is so good that customers eagerly drive from outlying suburbs to get a taste. We have a large selection of beers.

Cherry Cricket  5 Star Rating - World class

A great dive in the midst of swanky Cherry Creek. I'm surprised they let it live and thrive, except it has such great fun ambiance.Great burgers, green chili, beer, loud fun music and something for the young crowd to do.

Cherry Cricket  4 Star Rating - Very good

I have gone to the Cherry Cricket twice with my husband and friends. It's always crowded and it's a fun, young place to go.If you have out of town company it's a nice jaunt to the Cherry Cricket especially if you are entertaining the younger generation. The burgers are really good. The place is just a small hole in the wall
and nothing fancing but it draws a fun crowd.

Best Burgers in town  4 Star Rating - Very good

If you are new to Denver, or never been to this staple of North Cherry Creek, GO!. They have great food in a relaxed atmosphere that is completely disappearing from N. Cherry Creek with the invasion of all the yuppy restaurants. The Cricket has great food, drinks, pooltables, and a non-smoking eating area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

PROS: Food, Atmosphere, People, Location
CONS: Can get VERY busy on the weekends

Felt like we had our own personal chaperone 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

So for my birthday last night we decided to stay local and head to the Cherry Cricket. After having a good first experience at this semi-dive bar we decided to head back. The first of the many turn-offs to this place happened when one of the girls we were with (28) had forgotten her id, so instead of her heading back home she just decided to not drink at this place. UNFORTUNATELY the staff at the cricket did not "trust" us so they had one person at all times stand in the corner of the outside patio and shadily watch us. Needless to say it was rude and did not allow anyone to fully enjoy themselves. Things like "dont try anything" and "we'll be watching you" made us feel as though we had done something wrong from the second we arrived. The night ended when the girl we were with was informed she had to leave at midnight bec/ they were no longer serving food and she was deemed underage. Place made us feel unappreciated and as though our business was not welcome there.

Pros: none to list
Cons: customer service, friendliness

Great place to watch the game, crowded!! 4 Star Rating - Very good

This bar has great ambiance, and it located in my favorite Denver neighborhood. We watched the soccer finals a few years back the first time I had been there, and it was a perfect spot. The drinks were good, plenty of TVs to watch the action, and an overall jovial crowd made for a grand time. Cherry Creek dissolved away, and we were in England throwing back a few pints with our best buds. The only drawback was lack of parking in the area. But it won't stop me from bringing everybody I knowwhenever I can! Bottoms up!

Cons: parking

not bad 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Seems mellow and laid-back, especially for the Cherry Creek area, with decent burgers and the like. Crowded. Parking could get tricky here. If you want to spend a night of dinner and other activities in a less yuppie-fied area, you might want to try something closer to downtown Denver or west and northwest Denver.

Best dive bar and burgers in Denver 5 Star Rating - World class

This is one of my favorite places to get a burger and a brew. I have eaten here several times and the wait times have always been reasonable, and the food fantastic. Remember, that it is bar and everything will really be ok. I always get the Cricket burger with smoked cheddar and some fries or onion rings to share with everyone. Last time we tried the mac and cheese bites and they were really good. Fried food heaven.

Pros: Great food, good beer, awesome TV's for the games
Cons: Can be a wait to get in when busy.

Horrible Customer Service 2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

While the food is well done, the service makes the experience not worthy of repeating. I even gave the Cherry Cricket a second chance and once again they blew it. The second time we didn't even actually eat there. We stood at the door waiting for someone to seat us for ten minutes, we were completely ignored by every member of the wait staff for that entire period, not one word was spoken to us even though we were frequently walked right by. And when the dim witted hostess finally arrived, with no explanation or apology, she asked us if we wanted to be put on the list, as though maybe we were standing there for our health, only after asking the people who had walked in the door right as she walked up (as in ten minutes after we did). I don't mind there being a wait on a Saturday night, but the complete lack of competence is inexcusable. Their wait staff leaves much to be desired.
