Wonderful class schedules and instructors! I have taken many classes here and truly enjoy the time I spend here. Interestingly enough the atmosphere is much calmer and appealing to be in when the owner is not there.. the class assistants are so helpful and accomidating.. try to see if you can take a class when Susan is not there.. the experience is more relaxed!

I just took the first session of the Basic Skills Workshop. I was impressed all the way around. The kitchen is very well appointed, roomy, well lit and attractive. The utensils were excellent...All-Clad everything. Wow! Dan is an excellent instructor. He very obviously enjoys cooking and imparting his expertise. His presentation style is very animated, easy to follow, and has the right amount of humor. It was easy to pay attention and stay tuned in. Having the "helpers" is also an excellent touch. The extra instruction is appreciated, as is the fact that there's always room on the counters given your policy of having the students get things out to the cleaning racks and the helpers cleaning immediately. All together, an excellent experience I recommend for anyone wanting to learn more about cooking...or even only to refresh technique!

I have been attending classes at The Seasoned Chef now for almost two years and I have learned so much! The classes featured are ideal for the home chef with emphasis on cooking techniques, knife skills, and organizational competence in the kitchen. The guest chefs are knowledgeable and provide fabulous recipes to try out at home. The classes are typically full but only allow about 18 people in the class so everyone is able to receive personal instruction from the guest chef and observe how others are preparing their recipes. I highly recommend this cooking school to anyone who wants to gain more confidence in the kitchen and try out new and exciting recipes.

I recently took my first class at The Seasoned Chef cooking school, a light and healthy cooking class with Cheryl Rojic. I have changed many of my personal cooking habits with an emphasis on being healthier, so this was an ideal class for me to attend.

All of the recipes cooked during the class were fantastic. I have since cooked multiple of them or portions of them, at home on my own. I had several questions regarding why and how certain ingredients were used, and what other types of dishes that could be used for. Both Cheryl and Susan (the owner of The Seasoned Chef) provided many other ideas that I would never have thought about.

Probably the biggest benefit for me was seeing how various ingredients could be used. This has led me to come up with additional applications in recipes I routinely cook at home. So in addition to the 5 recipes prepared in the class, I have been able to create new ideas based on what I learned. I would certainly recommend these classes for anyone who wanted new ideas in the kitchen, both from new recipes and new ideas for your old ones.

This cooking school really is worth the effort. The owner, Susan Stevens, pays attention to her customers and offers classes that are timely as well as instructional. She has a "Grade A" group of instructors.

You would think that customers/clients would be treated with respect and dignity when forking out money for and attending a cooking class. Unfortunately, you may find yourself asking what happened to common sense personality and communication skills after a class here. Food is good but the overall experience . . .
