I took 3 cars in for an oil change. 2 of my 3 cars had problems following the oil change. One car was taken to the dealership 3 days after the Swis oil change due to a recall item that needed to be taken of. The dealership informed me that silicone was used in place of the oil pan plug. I questioned Swis and they denied using silicone. Really?! The second car suffered severe difficulties (costing approx $2500) 13 days after the oil change - coincidence? Possibly - but 2 cars out of 3 having problems within days of the Swis oil change. I don't like the odds and will not return for any type of service.

Very bad experience - My truck had no alignment issues for years until I drove about 300 miles on dirt roads late at night about 4 weeks ago. After that I had a slight pull to the right. I took it to the Castle Rock shop for an alignment. Once completed the truck pulled even harder to the right - I had to fight the steering wheel vs a slow drift. I took the truck back and asked them to look at it again. After I picked it up I no longer had to battle the steering wheel but the truck was all over the road - it wouldn't hold a straight line. I then took it to another shop. They looked at it and decided there was something wrong but couldn't identify what it was so they drove the truck to another shop. This shop spent about 10min. looking at the truck and found that the front wheel bearing was bad. Once they showed me, you could visibly see the wheel move. The second shop did not charge me for their work or transporting the truck\r\n\r\nI telephoned SWIS and asked for a refund (approx $140.00). They said they could give me some credits for part of it but would not provide a refund. I told them (honestly) that I am moving out of state and probably wouldn't be able to use the credit. They told me that was all they could do. So - give a partial credit to a person who is leaving town for work that was absolutely wrong - and then say tough cookies. Not someone I want to do biz with when there are so many good biz people in Castle Rock. Double D ended up identifying the problem and doing the work - this truck steers like it did when it was new!

Well I don't really have anything bad to say about the shop. I have stopped taking my car to the dealership (stealership) as this place has people who can do just about everything and they do it well. The best thing is that there is a nice big sign on the door to the bay that says ""Customer's Welcome"". \r\n\r\nAlignments:\r\nJust over a year ago I needed an alignment in a hurry before leaving on a trip for a wedding. Their alignment guy, Tom, was very thorough and was willing to explain to me what he was doing and why, and I have been going back ever since. \r\n\r\nOil Changes:\r\nUnlike the stealership, these people are actually willing to torque the oil plug to the specification value as opposed to just wrenching it down as hard as they can. I found that the stealership had done so on the oil change that I was going to stop going to them for and start doing my own oil changes and I could not get it off. Even the mechanic that was working on it was as dismayed as I was at how tight it was. They do it for so cheap, since I give them a high dollar filter and oil that I bring, that I have decided to just take my SRT-4 to them instead of doing it myself.\r\n\r\nFurther Notes: Oh, I almost forgot. At the stealership, I was trying to get someone to diagnose an odd pull while driving and the service manager used terms I wasn't familiar with to get me to agree to a $300 bill, but when I got the bill he just installed a camber bolt (clearly stated). I called up Tom and he said he could have got it and installed it for $115. \r\n\r\nConclusion: I can't attest to the rest of the stores, but this one has great service and very reasonable prices. These people have earned my loyalty and continue to prove to me why they deserve it.

Pros: Customer's Welcome in maintanence bay, Good Service, No BSing

Cons: Sometimes hard to turn left from the parking lot when leaving in the morning due to traffic

They quoted 3 days; well it turned out to be nearly 2 weeks. 1 month later my car started running rough, so I had a different shop look at it, I found out that Swis should not have repaired the engine because the block was warped beyond the manufacturer specifications. Swis originally charged $1559 however to repair the auto correctly cost ended up costing $5000. And I didn?t come away from the other shop with oil leaks as I did when leaving Swis. When the issues were brought up with Swis they were unwilling to work with us and denied any wrong doing.

PROS: They were freindly
CONS: I don?t feel that they did a thorough job

If you want oil change, tire rotation then go here.
No reservation. Walk ins. Friendly service. Knowledgeable staff. Willing to work with you. They listen to want you say and not make you look stupid. If you are a female with car questions then go to the swis.

PROS: friendly, helpful
CONS: it is hard to get through on the phone.
