I want to thank Kurt Hertel for the awesome customer service experience I recieved at Fay Meyer recently. Kurt was professional, curteous, Knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble fro him. he even helped me sort out an insurance issue I had. The staff at Fay Meyer are friendly and always willingto help. i will certainly reccomend the dealership to my friends and family. i will have no reservations in buying from them again due to Kurts friendly persona and helpful, can do attitude.

I recently brought a set of forks from a KX65 to Fay Meyers due to a leaky fork. They gave them back to me and in the first 5 minutes it leaked again. I took it back and they fixed it a second time, but when they gave it back to me, they told me it had a mark possibly causing the leak. They fixed the leak a second time, but said that was it, any further leaks and I was on my own. The mark was very round, similar to a center punch mark. It created suspicions in my mind that someone had damaged the fork intentionally. I had no proof but I wrote a letter to management with my concerns. They went above and beyond and are fixing the fork. I had no proof they damaged it, only my own suspicions that I could be wrong on. The fact that they listened to the customer whether right or wrong, then made the customer happy is the reason you should use them. They have had a pretty bad reputation over the years, but this clearly shows me an effort to build a better image. I would recommend them after this. The important thing is they made it right.

Pros: Customer was made the highest priority

Cons: had to do it three times, but they made it right

From doing a pre-inspection on my used bike (which I bought from a 3rd party, not Fay Meyers), to teaching me how to take care of my new bike (a good hour of the service centers time which I was not charged for), to helping me choose the right gear (which, price for price, was cheaper than I found online at various motorcycle retail outlets), these guys are the absolute best.

Their sales people are really knowledgeable and literally spend hours helping you understand product differences. I feel like a total pro at understanding the helmet brands and what is overprice and underpriced. On my limited budget, I found exactly what I needed. I don't understand other reviewers that called the salespeople "pushy" - there is absolutely nothing pushy about them at all, and I've been back several times and been helped by several different people. One person had even clocked out when I asked for help, and on his own time spent 30 mins helping me pick out gloves!

Their prices are extremely reasonable, especially for gear (I don't understand how my olympia jacket and scorpions pants cost less full price there than on sale online, but they did)

I took the basic rider course there, and will later take the intermediate course. I'm so happy with these guys. I'd rate them 10 stars if I could.

If you want to be told what to buy by a bunch of jerks who think they are better than you are, Go to Fay Myer. Also expect to be discouraged from buying what you want because its not as expensive as something else. Ask a question and be ready to be made to feel like your an idiot. Not just one sales guy but several will do it to you gladly.

This is the place to shop if you are feeling too good about buying a motorcycle and want to be turned off.

It's really too bad Fay Myers is the closest motorcycle sales and maintenance store in the area, but I hate them. I hate going into the salesroom and being attacked by the salespeople. I hate their policy of allowing a salesperson you don't like and don't want to get your commission to put your name in the computer making you "their sale" no matter who does the real work when it's time to buy. The thing I HATE MOST is the service department. They are slow, inefficient, and sometimes incompetent. With a previous bike they pinched a wire putting it together and caused the battery to die constantly. Then they ordered the part while the bike was in the shop and we kept calling to check on it. Finally, three weeks later, they said, "Oh, sorry, the part has been here." A fix that was their fault and should have only taken a few days caused us to miss more than three weeks of perfect summer riding time. Then, with my husband's current bike, there was a recall. We tried to avoid Fay Myers by going to a different place, who said that he did need a part replaced but it would take a week to get it. Fay Myers claimed to have one in stock, so we went to them instead. They told us the tech said the part didn't need to be replaced. When we told them about the other store's recommendation, they changed their minds and then we waited a week to get the part anyway. Like I said, I hate them.
