My experience with Dr. Castle and his office staff was awful. I scheduled a first time appointment back in April and the first available was mid June. I showed up to my apptmt 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. The office staff did not greet me and once I filled things out I sat myself in the waiting room. I waited over an hour and watched several other people who had arrived later than myself get called in. I had left my child with a friend for the apptmt and scheduled 1.5 hours just in case. So after waiting so long (1 hour 15 minutes) I went to the desk to ask when they thought I might be seen and to explain my situation (hungry child at friend??s house etc.) The staff member asked me to wait and went to the back. 5 minutes later someone else returned and told me it would at least another 20 minutes. I explained that I would have appreciated a phone call to let me know things were running behind or even a brief check-in while I sat in the waiting room so that I could make other arrangements. The office staff apologized that the doctor was running late but said that there was nothing they could do and that they didn??t have enough staff to let patients know about those sorts of things. Since they admitted fault I asked if I could reschedule and they said they didn??t have anything for another month and a half. At that point, I heard a man??s voice call my name behind the office door. So I stepped through the door way and there was Dr. Castle. He immediately started telling me he couldn??t have me causing a scene in the waiting room. His tone and his words were both extremely disrespectful and berating. At that point I had been nothing but polite and the only one to offer solutions so I was rather shocked at his words as well. He didn??t ask what the problem was or allow me to explain my situation. I chose to remove myself from such a verbally abusive practioner at that point and I stepped out of the office. I did ask for the paperwork and personal information I gave to be returned to me and the office staff said that she couldn??t do that. I told her then that under HIPAA regs it was to be shredded immediately and she agreed to do so, however I have no guarantee of that. I would absolutely recommend against going anywhere near this office. I have never written a review of any kind before but I truly felt I had to warn people against this. To think that such a disrespectful person has my personal information makes me feel victimized!

II have been a patient of Dr. Castle for several years, about 7, in those years of taking time off for my appointments, I have had to wait to get in to see the Dr., sometime up to three hours. Now i kept going because it is across the street from my house and the Dr. is nice, BUT... I just missed an appointment due to my wife going into the hospital. Called the office the next day to apologize and reschedule only to find out that I was not allowed to until I spoke to the office Manager , whom is the Dr. Wife, which is fine but we don't know when she will be in the best way is to leave a voice mail and she will call you when she can.
They say its because I've have canceled previous appointments, that is I have called to cancel. Not just not show up. Hey Dr. Castle what about the time I've sat in your office on my dime due to you over booking?!
Long and short I believe That this office does not care about there patience time, just there bottom line!!
Pros: He does know his stuff.
Cons: His practice doesnt care about you or your time and family
