I have been using Brakes Plus for many years. Adam the manager has put together a great crew. I have watched him and his service writers take care of people and recomend to customers only the service or repairs they actually needed. They have serviced 3 vehicles for me over the years.

Finally got my car back. Left it Saturday & this is tuesday afternoon. Had my water pump replaced & an oil leak fixed. Received an estimate. Wife picked the car up yesterday and didn't get out of the parking lot before a horrible noise made her take the car back. They said it was the muffler. No previous muffler problem. Muffler was replaced a year ago elsewhere. Mechanic swears it was preexistent. He lied. If it was preexistent why didn't they tell me when they gave me the diagnostics and quote. Why didn't they tell my wife before she started driving the car. They also broke oil gauge which they replaced at their own cost. Mechanic said he'd drive my wife home and got too busy & didn't do it. Car has oil smudges all over it. They parked the car right up against some bushes so it was very difficult to get in the car. BTW I hardly ever complain about anything but I paid $500 for a nightmare.

Ok, the customer service here was great. Too great! I took my car into Break Plus in April of last year. I had a list of things serviced including a transmission flush. I told them that they would have to use a special order ATF, but they would not listen, they said "oh, no it well be fine." Now, you are supposed to do a Trannie flush every 30,000 mile or so depending on your milage. I just took my car into the GO (where I bought my car) service center and they tell me that I need another Trannie flush, not even 3000 miles after I just did one and that my Transmission will fail if I don't. Then they should have done a coolant flush (it was on the receipt) but now I need another one. Then according to the 60,000 mile service list, they should have checked all of my belts, that are now fraying...I am no Mechanic but I don't think that the belts would go that bad in 9 months. My point is that they are charming and nice and it may all see ok at first, but just double check and don't trust everything they say. Thank you for reading this.

Pros: Good customer serivce...Too good. I did trust them when I went in...or I would have never had my service there.
Cons: Everything seems ok until a few month down the road, when you start to notice everything is wrong!
