While living in cascade village I was hardly ever home, working two jobs and sleeping at my guy's house half the week. I worked in two restaurants and never ate at home... upon move out I was charged to replace my drip pans and for an oven cleaning; the funny part is I bought new drip pans myself. Also, I was under the impression that my $200 pet fee would apply to any pet "damages" upon move out, but that was not the case. It doesn't say anywhere in my lease that it would, or would not; very misleading. They also charged me for miscelaneos cleaning expenses after I spent 4 hours cleaning before I vacated. I beleive this is because the cleaning lady for the complex followed me into my apartment to harass me about some items I left by the dumpster; she followed me into my apartment so I got in her face and I believe that created some prejudice on my final bill. While living there I had to ask multiple times to get a couple of things fixed, I was without heat for four days while it was snowing, and some of the promised amenities were not available while I lived there. Overall, worst renting experience ever.

Cons: move out

I searched and searched for a place to live that was inexpensive and fit my needs, when I found cascade village, even though it is super outdated, I decided to move in for a year. Everything was pretty good, the walls are paper thin, some people that live there are filthy, but the people I worked with, Dexter and Nathan were awesome. I even referred 3 of my friends to move in!! The maintenance team is good too. The problem I had when I moved out was with Hugo and Cathy the managment team. They were charging me $50 to change the drip pan on the stove which there was nothing wrong with and I cleaned once a month and when I went to dispute it along with some other bogus charges I was talked down to, interrupted, and hung up on, I just think their customer service is horrible. When I asked to talk to a head manager with out the presence of Hugo I was told it was not an option.

I would not move in if I were you....go to Remington West, they are nicer and newer!!

I think they need to get rid of Hugo and promote Dexter or Nathan, they have much better people skills and represent the Riverstone team much better than Hugo.

Pros: Inexpensive, nice pools, good location, good maintenance workers

Cons: Horrible management team, old buildings and design, right by railroad tracks..very loud
