JBs is a beloved local institution. Perhaps that is why locals continue to keep this place afloat year after year. Alright, let's get it out of the way. JBs is an actual old school drive in. That's cool, but that's it. The food is alright at best. Each individually priced item seems inexpensive until you make a meal out of them and realize you could have gotten a tastier meal for less at Carls Jr or the Shack (both just a couple blocks West). My recommendation would be to drive up and order the one thing that justifies this place's existence (i.e. Root beer... yum) and order your food someplace else. In the event that you have to deal with the angry old lady that runs the place, you'll wish that you could open up the cash register and take back every last cent you and anyone else you might know has ever spent here. Little tip - don't fall for coupons. The reason there is no expiration date is so that they can claim that any coupon you bring in is expired already. Oh yeah, and they CHARGE YOU FOR KETCHUP! Last thought: That unpleasant man that does nothing but fill people's water is a friend of the owners. Consequently, he makes more than your server. It's alright to laugh at him.
