I am surprised to see any negative reviews about Wokano! The food is prepared a lot healthier than some of the other less than par asian restaurants in the area so maybe that is what people don't like about it... but if you are looking for some tasty asian food I highly recommend this place! I know this sounds crazy but the chicken soup is the best I have ever had anywhere and something I crave whenever I am under the weather.

this place is def worth a try.

The screwed our meals up - no apology. They only give you a tiny amount of rice. Want more? They charge you for it!

I'm also surprised by the first review. I've never had a bad experience at Wokano. The staff is quiet and friendly, it's never busy so I always get in right away. I haven't had a dish I didn't like there, and the food never takes long. The prices are great and I always have enough food for leftovers. There's nothing bad to say!

Wow, I was surprised by that other review. Wokano is yummy! Especially the Wokano rice, filled with lots of scallops, prawns and the perfect amount of spice. Also, definitely go for their fire-roasted garlic edamame, spicy and tasty. The pad thai is pretty run of the mill, but good and the portion sizes are great. I have never had trouble with late delivery, actually I've found that they generally tell me longer than it actually takes and the one time that they took a little longer was in a snow storm and they brought me free crab/cheese wontons. No complaints here!

Pros: Great menu, yummy food, fast delivery

Cons: Decisions, decisions with the menu. Sometimes spice level inconsistent

I have nothing good to say about this place. Poor food, unfriendly service, and late delivery. Good luck.

A great addition to the Capitol Hill dining scene. Fast, friendly service, terrific variety of asian dishes and the best Pad Thai in Denver. Add to that fast delivery for those times when you don't feel like going out and you have a real winner!

Convenient, never a wait, affordable, and the best Oriental food I have ever had. All the dishes are spectacular, the portions generous, and there is a variety of Oreintal influences represented. The coconut curry is unbelievable as are the crispy prawns and the mango shrimp. Everyone I have taken to this restuarant has become a regular and most of them are very picky eaters. I can't say enogh good about this gorgous little bistro.

This restaurant is a great value. It's about 2 blocks from my house, and has delicious dinner items. My girlfriend and I go there all the time. Recommended.

The food is alway delicious! My favorite is the Kal Bi. They give you enough to take home. My favorite appitizer is the crab wontons, the sauce is great! Service is cometimes slow but they do a great deal of take out, and delivery. The scene is ok as long as you dont sit next to the drafty door, it can be very cold. Other than that the seating is comfy and there are a lot of interesting asian decors to look at. I have yet to try something that I did not like. For having so many different types of asian food, I think that they do a good job at making each dish authentic.

Went there at 6:30 on a Friday night because of the good press. There were several open tables, but 3 groups of people waiting to be seated. 1st group found themselves a table & sat down after several akward mintues. My friend & I were told that there was no table, but that would could share 1 seat at the corner of the bar!!! The other couple was told there was no table for them at all & they left, naturally. We were right behind them. I have NEVER been treated so badly in a restaurant. I hear the food is good, but I'll never go back.

I live in this neighborhood, and this has become one of my favorite places to dine. Great value for the money, esp. the soups & noodle dishes. Outstanding sauces, and always interesting. Menu changes every so often to incorporate new dishes while keeping favorites. A can't go wrong, can't miss experience.

Cute place, relaxing music. This young person that could barley understand english took our order. While taking the order we asked her if the entree came with rice and was enough for two people? She said yes. We ordered The ahi tuna roll, miso soup and sea bass with black bean sauce. The miso soup was rich in sea veggies and low on the miso taste. The tuna roll was good, but the avocado was not ripe. It came with some kind of sweet sauce drizzled on and no plates to serve. They served us the wrong sea bass entree. For $14.95 we got three very thin. long pieces of fish with asparagus and cucmber kind of relish. What was surprising, it didn't come with rice!! When she came withe the bill, we told her we got the wrong entree and after arguing with us she said sorry.
