Went into the shop because I'd heard it was the "go to" place for unusual reloading components.

Thankfully that wasn't the case. Nothing all that special in what was on the shelves and the prices weren't that good either. Sportsman's Warehouse has a better selection at better prices and most of all doesn't have the rude fat SOB behind the counter.

One of the calibers I went in looking for was out of stock on the shelf, so I made the mistake of asking the walrus if he was expecting to restock any time soon. I got a 5 minute high-volume lecture about how I "didn't know what [I] was doing" and "why was [I] wasting [his] time?" Well, OK... That's pretty special... Even if the *ISSUE* was THE CUSTOMER asking about THE PROPRIETOR doing *HIS* job and restocking the shelves with merchandise.

But I was already there, and already had selected some of the stuff I was looking for, so I let that slide.

When I went up to pay for my purchases, I made the mistake of asking if he did transfers on out-of-state purchases, as I was buying a gun from someone outside of Colorado that wasn't a C&R and I needed to go through a dealer. I got another high-volume outburst about how I was trying to rip him off, or set him up for BATF, or some other horsecrap.

I put my intended purchases on the counter---about $200 worth of business he wasn't getting---told him if someone spoke to me like that on the street they would be picking their teeth up off the pavement, and left.

I look forward to hearing that he's gone bankrupt and been put out on the street.

Visiting Reloader's Corner is like buying reloading supplies from the Soup Nzi. Ask for exactly what you want, be grateful for what you receive, and get the heck out of there before the owner gets miffed. You might be offered powder in a brown paper bag, and you won't be able to buy much of anything in bulk. The prices are average at best.

Cons: Disorganized, spotty inventory, zero customer service

This store is the place I head to when I want to find reloading supplies that I can't find elsewhere. He has a decent selection of brass and bullets, and carries the Lee dies in all of the calibers that I use.Anyway, the customer service certainly leaves a bit to be desired. This isn't the place to go if you need help with a purchase, and for the first few times I was there I felt that I was getting the "evil eye" that the others have described. The owner is opinionated (mostly negatively), and HATES credit cards. Even on days when he has been personable, he grumbles and looks upset when I present him with a credit card for a purchase! If he worked on his customer service angle a bit, I think this could become a top-notch store for reloaders.

This little shop has about one of every thing and a lot of things you will not find anywhere else. I have shopped there frequently for years.

It is owned by the gent who runs it who is a bit gruff. But if you want a pat on the head why are playing with guns anyway? And did you really think the retailers like you? If you really sensitive, go to Hallmark.

The fellow that runs it is also expert on reloading and if you have a developed question he has an excellent amount of experience and reloading experience that he will share with you.

This is a great shop that has alot of good stuff crammed into it. The owner however is a big A**hole. You walk into this store and the Fat a** behind the counter starts eying you like your gonna shoplift. If you ask a question you are replied to you like your disturbing him.
I once tried to return a unopened package of bullets (with receipt) that I purchased from the day before. He started yelling at me and told me I was "stupid" and to "get out" of his store.
Haven't been back since. Surprised to hear he is still in business.

My experience with Reloaders Corner is excellent. The inventory is extensive, including tools and supplies for not only modern common rounds but also wildcats, oddballs, obsolete. There is some good used equipment as well. The prices are generally as good or better than you will find anywhere (big box, gun shows, ebay, etc.). I only use cash (never credit cards) for shooting supplies so I can't comment on that. I've always found the owner to be courteous and knowledgeable. I don't need or like chit-chat anyway, and I DO like a local source to trade with.

Reloaders Corner

That was the rudest person I have ever met in a retail store.
He would not get off his fat a** to help pull an item, when he did talk you to the spot. (this is a 20 X 20 shop)
He said I have them, just next to the box my hand was on,
I picked up the empty box, then he said I must be out of them.
When I did find some items to purchase. About $90.00 He would not accept my card, It said see ID where the signature goes. He said " I was too F__CKING Lazy to sign my card."
I did not sign the card for security reasons, if it is lost, Anyone can make a driver license with that signature on the card. With any luck he will be out of business in less than a year. I am doing my part to help him OUT.

This guy who runs this place needs to go home! I've shopped in there twice and both times the very heavy owner or operator has either raised his voice at me, or for some it would be considered yelling. I mis-read the label on some brass I asked for. Instead of him being kind, he yelled that it was the brass I was looking for. I said that I didn't have my glasses on so couldn't see the print on the package. If I didn't need the brass so bad ( 8mm Mauser...hard to find) I would have walked out.

It's sad because this guy has a lot of very good stuff that's hard to find.

I should have listened to the previous review regarding this establishment but I've always preferred to shop at the "mom & pop" type shops to help support them.
I entered this shop and saw two other patrons. The "hefty" person behind the counter kept his eyes on me as I browsed about the store. It was pretty obvious that his full attention was on me and not with the other two shoppers. I thought It was odd and dismissed it thinking to myself that he was "being helpful" even though he didn't say a word.
After finding all the items that I wanted to purchase (about $325.00 worth) I stood in line to pay. The gentleman in front of me paid with a credit card and the "hefty" man behind the counter took the card and swiped it without hesitation then processed the sale. Then it was my turn the man said, "You are paying cash right?" I told him that it would be with a credit card. He rolled his eyes and took a deep sigh. When I handed him the credit card, he examined the card and scrutinized it. He then looked on the back of the card and saw that I have "Please Ask For I.D." written on it, then he said, "I'm not taking this because how do I know it's you." When I mentioned that the customer before me paid with a credit card and that he didn't bother to compare the signature, he replied, "That's up to me and how I do business." At this point I told him to have a good day and I left his store.
As I was driving away, I realized that the only difference between me and the other two customers in his store was the color of our skin. I guess his business must be doing very well that he can pick and choose the customers he wants to serve.

I did like this place when they would let you look at the guns. I went in there to buy ammo for my pistol. I asked if I could look at one of the 9mm. The guy did not know if I was going to buy it or not. He only let me hold it for like 20 seconds, then said , "you done looking". I have bought a lot of stuff from here in the past. I know they get a bunch of under age people wanting to look at the guns, but dont be rude to your customers. Some of there ammo is a good buy, some is way over priced.

PROS: some of the ammo sales
CONS:
