Our family used to be students but quickly left after less than 3 months when we were forced to continue the program for around 15k (which we were told was a steep discounted price). They call this the "renewal".

Instructors were nice and good with the kids but Stephen Oliver is the last person I'd want my kids around or to be like. All the parents I knew felt the same way I did and were surprised to have such great instructors working for such a snake. He is an ego-manic that acts like he is doing us a favor by showing up for a second to events. I heard some pretty horrible stories of how he treats the staff, including making sure they are 'athletic' looking. I guess he has not looked at his stomach, ever.

Some parents had such awful things to say about their experience, almost warning us not to go ahead with the "renewal" because there are soo many hidden costs in the program. Not really sure what they are, but didn't want to stick around to find out.

Also, I recently heard that one of the main teachers at the Littleton location is a 17 year old girl with 2 kids!! Way to produce discipline and quality role models.

Pros: friendly instructors

Cons: Cost, politics

.

This karate school is closed. Too bad, too, because they used to have a great instructor. Mile HIgh Karate seems to be "downsizing".
