Thread Bear Quilts is a great little quilting shop in Longmont-- it's slightly hidden, but definitely worth checking out. They have a wonderful selection of fabric as well as patterns and accessories. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I have been shopping at this quilt shop since it first opened and have watched it grow into the great shop it is now. It is one of my favorite shops to visit when I'm in Colorado which is at least twice/year. They are friendly, great to visit with, the fabric selection is very nice b/c they order the entire line of a fabric. I also find their prices to be better than what I find in my own town.
Pros: great fabric selection, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: the parking lot and no visible sign at Main St to point the way to the shop.

I visited this shop recently in search of designer fabrics and found them to have a very nice selection. The prices were not low, but the availability made up for this. The most impressive part of this business however was their wide selection of patterns including hard to find applique patterns. The staff was very friendly and the shop had a very warm atmosphere.
PROS: Nice selection of designer fabrics and patterns
CONS: A bit pricey.
