Woo! The Bunuelos caught my eye this afternoon in the store, I couldn't resist, so I bought a bag. I must say, delicious! They remind me of the cinnamon twists from Taco Bell except 100 times better! The cinnamon/sugar is not overbearing, they are lightweight and crispy. Awesome for anyone with a sweet tooth! Would be SUPER crumbled over vanilla or cinnamon ice cream or even chocolate! Great idea!

We only buy La Favorita flour tortillas. They have 150 grams of sodium. That compared to over 500 grams on most other brands! It is true that sometimes they stick a little bit, but the payoff for lower sodium is worth it.

I bought a package of the Wrap Size flour tortillas (3 x 10 package) and what a disaster! You can't separate them. Every One shreds and tears when trying to get them apart. I got so frustrated that I just threw the lot into the composter and went and bought some other brand. Now I know why they were so cheap!

My husband and I LOVE the cinnamon chips! What's sad is that they are hard to come by. They are GREAT when heated and honey drizzled on them! I was going to try them with ice cream but can't seem to find them. I wish more stores would carry them...
Thanks so much for a great snack/dessert chip!

I just finished a La Favorita Vegetarian Breakfast Burrito and it was so salty it made my mouth hurt. The label says that it only has 180 mg but that isn't what I was eating. I was eating a salt lick! Maybe I got a bad one and the salt didn't get mixed in, or the quality control guy was out sick, I don't know. I bought 4 of these at the store so I guess I will soon find out if it was a fluke.

I'm on a fairly strict low sodium diet as a 30 year old and I love La Favorita as they've helped me find chips I can eat as well as burritos I can enjoy for lunch! The vegetarian breakfast and huevos rancheros at least have very low sodium for a microwavable lunch. They are probably the lowest in sodium I've found around. Please keep up your quality and nutrition levels. Thanks!
PS...is there a website out there for la favorita? Also, can I buy in bulk!?

Finding a world class product is an experience to be savored. Much like the taste of La Favorita tortilla chips. Their thickness, saltiness, and flavor congers up one word perfect. Eating a whole bag in a single sitting is a mouthful of bliss that, much like a good movie or wine, leaves you wanting more when it is over. One person found these chips and brought them into the office to share. Now all of us are addicted. We affectionatly call them T snacks after their fearless discoverer T-Mac.

Everybody talks about not eating too many tortillas if you want to watch your weight, but when it comes to La Favorita flower tortillas or their chips, you ignore what the public says and you enjoy one of the best tortillas and chips you will ever find in Denver.
I wish La Favorita Foods the best in their success and I hope other states soon get to enjoy that taste of great flower tortillas and chips that we enjoy in Denver.

We just moved to Colorado from Virginia and we picked up La Favorita Tortilla Chips because we like to support local products. I was leery at first, because they say lightly salted on the package, but we gave them a try anyway. These are the best chips ever!!! They are so thin and crisp, and who needs all that extra salt?! The only issue I have with them is that they aren't sold at Walmart, where we do most of our shopping. But we make a special stop at our grocery store down the road to get these! Yum...and thank you! :)

I have to agree with the last review. THE OLD CHIPS WERE WONDERFUL. I TRY NOT TO EAT TOO MANY CHIPS, BUT LOVED THESE, SO I BOUGHT A BAG TO GO ON OUR WEEK LONG CAMPING TRIP. HOW DISAPPOINTING IT WAS TO FIND YOU HAVE CHANGED THEM. THE OLD STYLE WERE EXTREMELY CRISP AND FLAVORFUL. THE NEW STYLE TASTE OLD AND STALE. WHY THE CHANGE?

What happened to the great chips???

Dietary Fiber 2 grams
Sugars 0 grams
New Label
Calories 90 per oz
Total Fat 4 grams

Did you change the chips? Why? They were perfect. Were your nutritional facts on the old label incorrect? If the values on your new label are the values I've been eating all along, I need to know. These chips have been an important part of my diet and I used the values stated on your old label in my overall eating plan. 30 calories per ounce, the increase in fat, and the decrease in fiber makes a difference to me. I am incredibly disappointed.

Since I wrote the above I tried chips from the new bags with the new nutritional facts. The chips do seem different to me - thicker, much less flavor, and very dry - not crunchy. The chips weren't broken, guys, and you fixed them. Why on earth did you do that?

This is long overdue. I think La Favorita was responsive to the criticism about the change in the chips and they went back to the original recipe. I love these chips and wouldn't buy anything else. Thank you so much, La Favorita!

Look man... I love to eat. Eating takes a toll on the waistband. Especially when you eat things like chips. Salsa is definitely not the thing thats going to make you fat, but with regular brands making chips at 140-170 calories per ounce, you have to really worry about caloric intake. I can devour a bag of chips with salsa in one sitting... easy. That's simply no bueno.
La Favorita makes truely homemade or restaurant style chips with only 60 calories (20 from fat - none of which is saturated or trans fat), additionally, there are 0 sugars and only 9g of carbs. The recipe contains simple water, corn, soybean oil, salt and lime. I challenge you to find a better chip with stats like that. Even the baked variety at your Whole Foods and such won't come close.
La Favorita also makes some carb cutting flour tortillas that are burrito sized with 80 calories. Compare to other national brands with 140+ per serving. The low carb ones have a wheat flour in them and are very delicioso. There is also a low of fat free tortilla with white flour, but I believe the calories are higher and sugars/carbs are too... Even then, they are helping you make healthy decisions about your eating habits.
In some stores, if you are lucky enough to have this, you can find their foods in the frozen section. They make six packs of breakfast burritos (with egg, pork, potato, etc...) and tamales also I think. I have had the breakfast burritos and I prefer to make fresh myself, but if you're like me and don't have time every morning, this is a good option.

We love these chips and at 60 calories, 2.5 grams of fat, and 50mg of sodium they are much healthier than most chips on the market. They are have a very reasonable price.

La Favorita tortilla chips are better than any tortilla chip I've ever had in my life! They have an authentic and addicting flavor. I highly recommend this product!
