Elliott Steve - Ponderosa Family Physicians

LOVE this practice!! My familly and I have been seeing Dr. Draper for the past 15 years now as well....and he is simply a remarkable Doc. He is not only my doctor, but a friend who cares deeply about your life!

I have not had a SINGLE instance of their office staff acting unaccordinly at all. Not in the 14-15 years that I have been going there. Infact, I have been to other practices whereby you don't see the same doctor twice, and, the attitude is "let's get you in and out!" Not like this at Ponderosa Physicians. I would recommend these docs to anyone I knew who would respect them as well.

Since I have been an adult I have always been told when you go to the Doctor make sure you write your questions down and bring it with you. I was a patient of Leslie Stanwix for the last 16 years. I was in today to see if I had a sinus infection and all my muscles ached also I had waited 45 minutes total, before she came in to make this short, she said we only have time to check one thing. I told her this was not fair since I waited so long, she flipped out and asked if I wanted to leave, I did then she told me to find a new Primary Care Physician,a person can't be more then 15 minutes late for an appointment or you will have to reschedule.

I have never ever been late, but believe me I have done my share of waiting at that office for the last 16 years. One of my last visits I came in with a list of simple questions and when Dr. Stanwix came in she started crossing things out on my list.

Whatever happened to the Hippocratic oath?

Up until I started seeing Dr Draper, I don't think I ever saw the same doctor twice. Both myself and my family have been going to PFF for almost 15 years and have never had a problem.
It is an extremely high volume office, but I have never felt like I had been pushed aside or forgotten. As long as you make your appointment on time, you will not have to sit in the waiting room for more than a few minutes. If you are late, they will make every reasonable effort to get you in or reschedule.
I have never been denied a same day appointment when I needed it and the staff has always been kind and courteous to me - even when I really did not deserve it.

my doctor is fantastic and the only reason I still go there. I have had nothing but trouble with the office staff, every time I have called for over 5 years. I have considering that its just not worth it hundreds of times.

I do know that the doctors here are wonderful - at least that has been my experience. However, as long as no one makes a mistake or anything - you will be fine.

But - I had a horrible experience because their office made a mistake. They treated me like it was my fault and made me undergo a lot of unnecessary stress because of it. When I complained to the office manager - there were no apologies for their behavior or the mistake. She admitted that they made the mistake - but never once apologized for how they treated me or how it affected me. Even though I really loved my doctor (Dr. Pederson) I will never step foot in this office ever again.
