The crew was professional and courteous. They did a great job of protecting the furniture and were cooperative in putting things where we wanted them. The experience was a pleasant one.

I've had my dog take training classes at You Lucky Dog. Mike is great. He teaches you how to communicate and understand your dog as a pack animal. It has been a great tool in taking training to another level.

We have used BVT 2 times in the last 4 years and I have to say they are awesome! They moved my family and my business. Check their BBB rating before you believe what people post on the internet. I run a small business and competitors are

We used BVT on a recommendation from a friend. Needless to say, we were let down from start to finish. We received a very nice first visit to explain the service, however we should have asked for a more in depth explanation of their insurance policy- more on that later.
The day of the move the van was an hour late. I give this company one star because the workers who finally arrived were very nice and seemed respectful of our things. However that apparently was only the case when they were in sight, because upon arrival of our things at our new house (our belongings spent 2 weeks in their storage unit) we discovered over $2000 worth of things broken.
Broken TV, an entire broken box of dishes, broken bookshelf, one missing box, corners and paint scraped off of much of our furniture. Please note that everything in a box that was broken was packed by BVT- which they had recommended (for a higher fee) because then it could be "insured" by them.
It was naive of my husband and me to not further investigate this insurance policy. So here it is- they will insure .60 on the pound. Meaning, if a 40 pound, $1500 television is broken BY THEM, they will give you around $25 to cover it. Sounds fair, right?
Clearly distressed by this, we contacted the owner, who first said, "why didn't you buy the extra insurance?" Never offered, we replied. Would you come and at least see what was broken? "Sure" was the reply- we were stood up twice, once on a Saturday, once on a work day with time taken off- not even a phone call. When we finally were able to get the owner on the phone again (not an easy task) we received this answer for his actions- you signed the waiver, so s_e me.
Clearly we understand our part in not investigating this insurance policy further. I just felt we were not respected at all during this process, and would like to warn potential clients of the pitfalls associated with working with BVT. This poor treatment, from the owner no less, is unthinkable.

Pros: friendly workers

Cons: poor customer service, unclear insurance policy, late, disrespectful, poor treatment of customer belongings
