This historic hotel (Victorian?) is one of the best high-end places to stay in Boulder, and the location couldn't be beat. Just a block away from the Pearl Street mall. Some of the staff can be a little snobby, but overall we were treated very nicely. Our families stayed here during our wedding weekend. The front desk staff was willing to honor some requests, like placing welcome baskets in every room and providing maps to our guests.

If you are looking for somewhere just to have dinner, or somewhere to host a special occasion. The Hotel Boulderado is THE place. The food in their restaurant is spectacular. They had a wide selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Their wine selection spans the globe. It was a very fine dining experience. If you are looking to have a special event here, look no further. The event coordinators are both professional and experienced. We had our wedding reception here and they made it a magical experience. They treated us like we were royalty, it was amazing! Aside from the staff there, the building and decor is so classy and historical. All of our guests told us how beautiful the whole reception was, and that is largely to do with the Boudlerado staff.. BRAVO!
PROS: great place to dine or celebrate!
CONS: None

I hosted my company's National Sales Meeting here last December. It was a dream! The Hotel was decorated beautifully, included a very large tree in the foyer. The staff was great to work with and helped me through every step of the way. They upgraded me to a nice suite, and it was very luxurious, including robes! I loved how the rooms were decorated and each one felt different and cozy. Although a little expensive- this is such a neat place to get the Boulder feel! I can't wait to go back!

The place reeks with history, it pours out of the walls although sometimes the age does show this is a not to miss place to stay. Ghosts and all. Beautiful woodwork, old style, service is so-so but a unique place to put in your memory banks.
