I was very disappointed when Lowes said they could not give me the window measurements that I had paid for (I paid $35 for someone to take 20 minutes to measure my windows). I could understand it if Lowes had paid for the measurements but I had paid for them - don't the measurements belong to the person who pays for them? I believe this was an attempt for Lowes to make me purchase the shades from them and not allow me do it myself. I was trying to save money by doing some windows myself. Needless to say, Lowes lost a $1800 cellular shade order.

I purchased a washing machine from Lowes in Louisville Colorado. The machine was out of stock so I had to order it. After two weeks of waiting, the delivery date arrived, on the exact day I had to fly out of town. They said they would make me the first delivery 0700. That would work but they had to be on time. They called me at about 0630 to confirm directions and that they were leaving the store. They came right on time. The two delivery employees were efficient and professional. They even detailed the machine for me and did a test run. I had my washing machine all ready to go and got to the airport on time! Great delivery service.

My family enjoys shopping at Lowe's for many reasons: prices, staff, selection. This Lowe's was no exception. We arrived around 10:30am on a Sunday, and the store was fully staffed. We were greeted at the door and each department we went to (lighting, flooring, windows, wood) had a staff member present to answer our questions. We picked up items ranging from under cabinet lighting to a shower caddy. The prices for name brand items were the same if not better than some of the chain stores. The staff answered our questions (even where an ATM would be located in the area) in a friendly fashion and our checkout was quick and effortless.
PROS: Right off the main road. Great selection.
CONS: Parking lot could get packed quickly, hard to manouver around.
