Ok, I have eaten BBQ all over creation and these guys try real hard however, is hard to say they are the best. First of all the Best slab of Ribs without question is at Houston's restaurants, and there is one in Cherry Creek area on 2nd

The food is very good. We would eat there more often, but it is very pricey!!!!! The sides are too expensive and you only get a little.

However, the food is very tender and the best BBQ that I've had in Longmont. The atmosphere is extremely relaxed, wish they actually waited on the tables. People would stay and have dessert or have another drink but it is inconvenient.

The food is good, but I found the service to be poor. I took visiting relatives there. They had no table service for refreshments. I got up and tried to get us a second round of drinks, but was faced with a very long line, easily a 10 minute wait just to get a couple more beers. I tried asking for some near the waitress station but they wouldn't help me and were very rude about it. I'll never go back.

WOW!!! Get the ribs. Now...imagine a rack of ribs laying in front of you...delicately grab a bone and pick it out of the rack...repeat ~15 times. Now you have a complete BONELESS rack of ribs. Grab a fork and "cut" the "ribs" in bite size pieces. That is how tender they are. Longmont location is MUCH better than Boulder. If you like smokey meat, go to Longmont. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

The Rib House in Longmont is awesome. I love the atmosphere also. The new one in Boulder I can't say the same - the sit down style feels stuffy and isn't a "fun" place to eat. I also thought the food was not as good....but as I said, the one is Longmont is great barbeque

The BBQ is to die for and so are their sides! Try the Chipotle Potato Salad and Cheesy Corn, my favorites! Also, we ordered an assortment of brownies from them and couldn't have been more pleased. Big and gooey!!!!

These are the best baby back ribs I've ever eaten. Fall of the bone tender and perfectly smoky. I travel all over the country for work, and it still surprises me the best ribs are in Longmont of all places. A bit of a drive from Denver, but absolutely worth it.

Well worth the drive - you're in for a treat. (Plus the neighborhood is unique, so take a stroll after you fill your belly!) We discovered the place after a man who used to live above the restaurant recommended it. First item on the menu to try (though you might never try anything else after because it's too DELICIOUS) is "Scott's Rib Basket." It's always a special treat to eat their ribs. They're specially smoked and come out with the best unique flavor, meat slides right off the bone, and the serving size is ample. My favorite of the homemade BBQ sauces is Medium because it's just enough heat and has a delicious flavor (not to sweet and not all vinegar either). They recently started selling their sauces in the grocery stores - look for the yellow bus on the label. My favorite side is the cheesy corn. They make their food with care and serve it too. EVERY time we've stopped in one of the 2 owners is there serving food. Only complaint is that we've been waiting for them to add a GREEN side dish for years (green beans, spinach salad, etc.) Try it - you've never had BBQ like this before!

I discovered the Rib House while in Longmont on business a couple of years ago. Now it's our favorite place to eat in Colorado! Absolutely the most tender, best-tasing ribs we've ever had! The carrot cake is out of this world too! Beautiful setting in a unique neighborhood. During our week-long visit we were at the Rib House 3 times, and even brought ribs home to Michigan for family! We'll definitely eat here anytime we're in Colorado! Just wish we could get them here anytime!

I've eaten a lot of ribs at a lot of places, but nothing has compared to The Rib House. The meat is fall-off-the-bone tender and has great flavor even without sauce (they give a choice of four). While the location may be out of the way for some, its presence in the middle of Prospect New Town makes for one of the greatest outdoor patios imaginable. I've heard the carrot cake is supposed to be terrific- I plan to try it if I ever have room left over (doubtful!)

Wow! This place rocks! The owners are the friendliest peolple and they work the front counter-how's that for service! I had a spicy hot bbq pork sandwich for only 3.95! Their homemade brownies are about half the size of a brick (hey only 1.50 too!)and yum! It is worth the drive to Prospect Park just north of Boulder. This urban village is a sight to see! So pack up the kids, and take the 20-30 minute drive up 287 to this awesome bbq place!

Finding good BBQ in Colorado is a rare experience. Who would have known the best ribs, brisket, and pork could be found in Longmont? I stop by for lunch every time I am in Longmont. Their ribs are very smoky and full of flavor, putting sauce on these ribs should be a crime. Their brisket is juicy and very tender. Be sure to order some of their chipotle potato salad and cheesy corn bake as sides dishes, you won't be sorry. Finding The Rib House the first time is tricky, but well worth the effort.
