The best thing about Perfect Teeth on Yale are the dentist's personalities. The hygenists will either do a quick job or an extensive and painful job. The office staff is typically incompetent although a few things went smoothly. The corporate billing group and practices are obominations. I was over-charged $800+ as part of an implant and was told I would be re-imbursed. After 3 wks I called and they said they'd check on it. After another week I called again and was told that there was a hold on it for a $20 non-pymt on my kid from 18 months previous. After countless call between them and my insurance over a 2 week period, it was found that PT had been paid, but hadn't credited my account. I was told my reimbursement would be sent immediately. A week later I called the office mgr and was told that they sent it to their corporate office and that it takes 4-6 weeks for reimbursements to process. I was livid at this point and called their corporate office. Beyond the receptionist I left messages with four different people. Finally, one lady called me back and after threatening to file complaints with the dental board, BBB and anyone else I could find, she found a way to get a check issued within 72 hours. This billing debocle was the reason I changed dentists. My new dentist asked that I get my old xrays since he found a large amount of decay underneath a bridge that was obvious on x-rays. None of the four dentists I've seen with PT had ever mentioned it! Of course, PT charges me $25 to get copies of x-rays I've already paid for. I picked them up today and there was one x-ray from 11 years of going there. The took the damn x-rays every year! Now, I have to go back again once they find what should be about 100 x-rays. Don't go to Perfect Teeth! Complete incompetence and dental problems you're not informed about are all you'll get. Stay away!

I have only had good experiences with PT - I've never had to wait, never had someone work on me without a mask. Why wouldn't you say anything if someone did?? Also, they respond very quickly to my calls and have never recommended treatment I didn't need.

I was very surprised to read some of the other comments. I have had my dental care here for approximately 3 years and I have never experienced a long wait, nor have they attempted to obtain treatment I did not need. In fact, he recently told me he would like to eventually replace a crown, but that there was no immediate need and that it could probably wait a year or so. Dr. Targos is, in my opinion, a very good dentist and I would highly recommend him.

This is the worst dentist office. Very unprofessional they overcharged me for a simple procedure. I got a quote from them to do it and it was going to cost me 1300$. I got a second opinion from a better dentist it is not going to cost me a thing! They also wanted to charge me for a copy of my xrays to take to the better dentist. They are my xrays and why would i pay for a second copy!? My new dentist has to give me the new xrays for free since I refused to pay them for a copy. Perfect Teeth will be going out of business sooner than later. Good luck finding a job employees of Perfect Teeth.

I too had a bad experience at PT. I went to them for about three years, but decided to change my insurance to go elsewhere this year. The doctor recommended a lot of unnecessary dental work on my kids, suggesting that one had 8 cavities needing to be filled-- 6 months prior the kid had his teeth coated. When I ask about this, the doctor said that only 2 teeth needed fillings. For the other child, my husband was told that our son needed a baby root canal for his cavity. My husband refused and instructed the doctor to just put a filling in-- and they did. By the way the doctor didn't even come out to talk to me about the "8 cavities" that my oldest son had. He sent out the dental hygienist. I had to schedule a follow up visit with the doctor and learned that my son would be OK to just get 2 teeth filled Very suspicious.

I had been with perfect teeth for more than 2 years. It was not very pleasant experience. I have to wait for a long time, sometime even more than half an hour, behind schedule to be examed. They are not very professional. They treated me without mask on. And they had problem with billing, too. All in all, do not go to perfect teeth. They are far away from perfect.
