This joint is cursed - with failure - at a level which is systemic. The misinformation which spews out their mouths regarding technical details or parts information is substantial - and clearly enabled by their Owner - who apparently

I went in to buy a new bike a short time ago and was ignored the whole time I was in there. I was on the sales floor and ignored and I was ignored in the apparel area as well. I decided they didn't want my business after all and headed to the Other BMW shop in Aurora and biy howdy I am happy now!! I was welcomed and treated well as soon as I walked in. Foothills is dark and dreary inside also, not very welcoming at all! I will never spend a dollar in Foothills even thought I live right next to it, I will keep driving by....

I didn't write a review to CitySearch when I made my original purchase about 1 year ago, but if I had it would also have been 5-Star.

Since my original purchase, I have become a repeat customer. My wife and I have now purchased 3 motorcycles from Foothills. The buying experience has always been very straightforward and fair. Not only on the cost of the new motorcycle, but also as far as the value given for the ones we have traded-in. We have now purchased 2 Triumphs and a BMW from Foothills and each deal has been fair and smooth.

I have also made extensive use of the parts and service areas since my original purchase, add-ons, performance package, scheduled services. Everyone is very friendly there. I am greeted by name when I walk into the dealership, by service, by sales, by parts. It is part of the experience that makes someone become a repeat customer.

I don't know what to make of the negative reviews. I guess even the best of dealers and the nicest of people can have bad day where everything doesn't go right. Whenever I have had an issue that I am not completely happy about I have found that they are always willing to go out of their way to come to a fair and reasonable solution. In my experiences so far they have been more than fair.

My wife and I will, without a doubt, purchase our next motorcycles from Foothills as well.

Pros: Friendly, Fair Deals, Straight Forward Pricing

Cons: Wish they had room for more gear and accessories

In the market for a new BMW. Have been doing my services here (even though I did not buy here originally) and have received nothing but great service. Had one problem in the past but Kevin the service manager got right into it and had it resolved on my next visit. Buying experience was excellent. Sales manager Matthew supported his sales guy Wayne very well and they were very responsive to my questions and issues. Know their BMWs well, also have the Triupmh brand so you know they are not just promoting the BMW since they have a choice. Also very up to date on other brands. Very positive buying experience. These guys concentrate on doing their job well and do nott spend any time bad mouthing other dealerships or the other brands They sell positively.. Professional operation with service a high priority in sales, parts and service. Great experience and I got the deal I wanted as well.

Tired of commission hungry salesmen in many of the bike shops we visited, we finally went to Foothills Triumph where we were treated professionally. We went in to browse, but ended up leaving with a new Triumph Bonneville- goes to show how important a sales team is in a successful business. As we left (salesman) Jim said "welcome to the family." I didn't get what he meant until later when we were struck by a car on our bike and for months dealt with the insurance hassels. Sales Manager Matthew Morrison proved himself to be a top rate manager. He always knew who we were when we called , helped with questions, and assisted us through all our post- accident troubles. He certainly didn't have to, but he took the time to take care of his customers.Don't bother going anywhere else, the service is excellent and it's worth becoming part of the Foothills family.

Bought a used BMW here and felt I got a fair deal and straight forward service. The bike was spotless and works great but it was missing a tool kit. The sales manager named Matthew got me one as promised. Their parts shop was helpful when I emailed and asked for some info and small parts. Everyone I met was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. I think it's a great place

Foothills BMW-Lakewood, Co. is absolutely the worst place to buy anything. When you call a business with the intention of making a purchase from them, you expect a degree of good customer service. When I called for information and assistance, I got anything but. I was left with the impression they didn't need my money.

He had never had a "new" motorcycle. He had over the years, had several used ones. In the last 13 years, he had not had anything to ride except his Montessa Trials Bike. He made up his mind that this jar of savings would buy his new Triumph.

After 4 years he finally had saved $9,000.00. He felt he had enough to get the Triumph Bonneville he had been looking at on the Internet and through the window of the dealership. He wanted to buy it cash. Because we live in Colorado, he did not want a bike that would sit in the garage, only to have to make payments.

He asked me to call around for specials. I started finding all of the dealerships for Triumph in Colorado. Because there are limited places that handle Triumphs, I called Foothills BMW in Lakewood, Co., first. I sent two emails that were not returned. Then I called a week later. I asked for a sales person.

I was connected to the Sales Manager, a British fellow. I told him I was calling for my husband to inquire as to what promotions were available for the Bike my husband wanted. I explained to him what my husband was looking for in a bike. I asked him if they had any promotions that would allow free accessories or a discount if we paid in cash.

He laughed and told me to call to a dealer that was hard up and needed the money. Poor Customer Service---Go to Apex Sports-Colorado Springs, Co. EXCELLENT............W got an excellent deal on a new Triumph. Lots of extras and accessories. Ask for Gary in Sales. He rides too. He will make you glad you came. Forget Foothills BMW. They are way to big to care about the average person. Plus they forget you when you go.

Save yourself the brain damage, do business with someone else. Not customer friendly, not ethical my opinion.

Multiple problems with purchase and misleading advertising, misleading use of forms, not ethical in my opinion.

I purchased a used motorcycle from this dealership. Since it was a BMW dealership, I assumed they would be "above the rest". I was charged a "dealer prep fee" of $248 which was supposed to include paperwork, safety check and cleaning. I was told the bike was safety checked, but found that key bolts were missing, the gas tank was damaged and there was a significant fuel leak. The bike was clearly not in tune and stumbled on acceleration. So much for a safety check. You would think they could have at least tuned the bike! The bike was also dirty, so cleaning clearly wasn't part of the "dealer prep."

Pros: I got a good deal on price....

Cons: Poor customer service, esp after the sale!

With the exception of one salesperson, the atmosphere is a little cold when you walk in. Could use a little improvement.

I had my 2006 R1200RT in their service department 4 times for the same complaint. The last time, it was in the shop for four weeks with no resolution to the problem. I believe they were too busy to work on it and did not have sufficient skills to manage the job. Communication with me was only when I forced the issue and most promisses to call me were ignored. I would not take my bike there again and would not buy anything there that contained promises of service with the purchase. This is my 3rd BMW and my 12th motorcycle. There is better service available.
